Wild West Gypsy Styled Shoot

If you haven't noticed, we're always a little bit obsessed with fall wedding details! Our fall season is about to be out of control, and we're going to love every crazy second. Get ready for tons of unbelievably gorgeous wedding photos in the next few months! In the meantime, I wanted to share this styled shoot from a few years ago. I still cant get over the western, gypsy-inspired details! And so many of these details would be perfect for fall weddings at The Barn. Prepare yourselves for some serious eye candy!

Y'all, our team has been killing it with styled shoots this year. In the spring, there was the stunning, totally dreamy Magical Meadow styled shoot. This fall, we've done the Wild West Gypsy shoot, which I get to share with y'all today. Our team also did another fabulous styled shoot this past weekend, which you can see sneak peeks of on our Instagram and Facebook. It was a beauty as well!

This shoot was unique not only for the gorgeous details, but also because we had not one, but two fabulous photographers. Melissa McCrotty and Paxton Goates both took the most stunning photos of all the gorgeous details. Paxton also got several behind-the-scenes photos that I'll share with you another day, so you can see just how "glamorous" it is to work on one of these shoots... (Hint: Everything going on behind the camera is NOT glamorous. ;)

And now let's talk about all the amazing details from this shoot. As the name suggests, this shoot was full of gypsy-meets-cowgirl vibes. Faux fur. Cowboy hats and boots. Dreamcatchers. A teepee. Cowhides. Horses. Stunning florals (we can't do a shoot without 'em!). A rustic wagon. Gorgeous place settings with stone slab chargers (amazing!). And of course there were lots of pretty outfits, too. There were way too many great details to name, so you'll just have to check them out in the photos!

We couldn't have pulled off this shoot without these incredible vendors!

Rustic Fiesta Styled Shoot

With Cinco de Mayo coming up tomorrow, it's time to show off our Rustic Fiesta styled shoot yet again! This shoot is from 2012, so it's kinda vintage... But we still adore it and all its fun colors and details! Grab yourself a margarita and a taco, and check out all the colorful, festive prettiness!

Cinco de Mayo is one holiday that I can totally get behind. Margaritas and tacos?! Yes, please. In honor of this holiday, let's take a look back at our spring 2012 styled shoot. The theme was Rustic Fiesta, and it was beautiful. This shoot had so much beautiful color, as well as the prettiest details. Colorful flowers and decor, succulents, tiny Patron bottles, papel picado, colorful streamers, a fabulous cake, and so many other fun details. This theme was certainly one of our most fun ones ever!

You may notice that this shoot was done in The Barn's early days. In fact, we hadn't even had our first wedding out here when we did this shoot! The concrete floor hadn't even been poured. We've come a looong way since then, which makes it even more fun to look back at where we've been!

Spring Styled Shoots

Happy first day of Spring! These spring styled shoots are from a few years back, and they're full of bright, colorful, fun details! They're too good not to share them again! xoxo

Some of my favorite things to share on this blog are the gorgeous, inspiring styled shoots The Barn team has pulled off. They are all full of beautiful, incredible details, and I feel like our team's individual talents really shine when they work on styled shoots! Our team creates incredible wedding after incredible wedding, but when they get to work on styled shoots, amazing things happen! With no creative limitations, things get a little crazy, and it always turns out awesome!

With the official start of spring just around the corner, I thought it'd be a good time to show off a couple of our spring styled shoots. These are both full of colorful, beautiful details and flowers, and they're both as country as it gets. They're sweet and Southern and are sure to put a smile on your face!

Chickin -n- Biskits

This shoot was styled by one of our former interns, Melanie. When an intern decides to use real, precious baby chicks in a styled shoot... well, you know it's going to be good. Our team worked with several amazing vendors to create Southern, sunflowery magic. You can see more of this shoot here

Country Girl Chic

As its name suggests, this shoot is country, rustic and just the prettiest thing. It's full of colorful flowers, rustic-chic details, a fabulous streamer backdrop, and the cutest little girl with red painted toenails. Love! This shoot was styled by our Facilities Manager, Milissia.

Vaqueras Styled Shoot

Did you know The Barn has a sister store in downtown Russellville? Vaqueras is owned by The Barn's owner and creative director, Lesleigh Smith, and it's the only place in our area where you can buy the finest western wear, bags, boots and jewelry. Every item is handpicked, seriously gorgeous, and top of the line! Vaqueras teamed up with Melissa McCrotty for a shoot with some of her teen models out at The Barn, and I'm simply in LOVE with everything these girls are wearing. Each piece is amazing quality and unique, and these girls totally rocked it. You can read more about the shop and see Melissa's first shoot with Vaqueras here. If you see something you've just gotta have, we'd love to see you at the store, which is located at 114 South Commerce in Russellville! (And if you're a Barn Bride, we've got a 25% discount on boots with your name on it!)

Circus Styled Shoot

Ladies and gentlemen, step right up!

We recently teamed up with Melissa McCrotty and a few of her senior models for a prom and bridal styled shoot, and we decided to do something totally different than anything we've done in the past. We wanted to do something big and dramatic and with tons of over the top details, so our team worked with Melissa to create a shoot inspired by The Greatest Showman and the circus! Melissa has wanted to do a vintage circus themed shoot for a long time, and we're thrilled that it finally came together so beautifully. This shoot included lots of bold red, as well as several vintage circus inspired props: a top hat, gold hoops, a vintage trunk, beautiful headpieces, vintage circus posters, and so much more. My favorite details were the gorgeous red drapes at The Barn's doors and the amazing red gowns!

Have you guys seen The Greatest Showman yet? I may or may not have watched it twice already! ;) Many of the gorgeous details from this shoot reminded me of the amazing costumes and set designs from the movie, especially the sparkly hairpieces, the gorgeous gowns, and of course, the very P.T. Barnum top hat! If you're already a fan of the movie, turn on your Greatest Showman soundtrack (I know you bought it) and get ready to scroll through the prettiest circus of all time!
