Meagan + Trevor's Glamorous, Romantic Purple Fall Wedding

Are we dreaming, or did this wedding really happen?! 'Cause it was seriously MAGICAL... someone pinch us! Every detail was absolutely over-the-top and completely gorgeous, from the stunning ceremony details to the fabulous bridal gown and bridesmaids' dresses and every. single. detail. in between! Plus, Meagan was THE happiest bride ever. She is probably The Barn's biggest fan and we LOVE her.

A wedding this fabulous doesn't happen without a host of amazing vendors, and here are the ones Meagan and Trevor chose for their big day!

Meagan and Trevor were married at The Barn at Twin Oaks Ranch on October 20, 2017. Their color palette was a beautiful, elegant combination of gray, silver, and pops of fall-toned purples. They chose an aviation theme because of where they both work and the fact that they met on an airplane while working, but they wanted the theme very subtly worked into their details. Their wedding was glamorous and romantic, and the subtle aviation-themed details made it totally unique and all their own.

There are a TON of amazing details from this wedding that we've got to cover (they were all SO good, I can't leave anything out!), but first up, let's talk about what these beautiful people wore! Meagan's David Tutera bridal gown and Carolina Herrera veil were absolutely exquisite. The illusion neckline and lace details on her dress were insaaaaane, y'all. STUNNING doesn't even begin to cover it. And her veil was one of the prettiest we've ever seen! This bridal look will never go out of style, and it was perfectly accented by the bridesmaids' glamorous, sequined Donna Morgan dresses (one of our fave details!).

See what I mean?! Happiest bride ever!

Trevor and his groomsmen wore classic black Calvin Klein tuxes (this bride and groom have great taste!), and they looked pretty much straight out of a bridal magazine. Groom goals right here, y'all! Trevor's groomsmaid wore a gorgeous Adrianna Papell dress.

Meagan’s purple florals were stunning, and the addition of darker shades kept them totally fall appropriate. "The flowers in general were extraordinary," she said. "They were magnificent. The flow from almost black purple to violet to a blush tone was breathtakingly perfect. The bouquets were absolutely exquisite! My aunt reached out to touch a flower at the reception and exclaimed, 'These are real?!?' She was completely awe-struck."

Meagan and Trevor's ceremony details were out of this world, and in my opinion, this was one of the most elegant ceremonies we've ever done! I cannot get over their altar, with its elegant draping, gorgeous greenery, and fabulous purple florals! To top it off, they had a gorgeous petal design down their aisle, as well as purple floral arrangements and lanterns.

One of Meagan's favorite things about getting married at The Barn was "the perfect blend of the country, rustic, rural venue with the chandeliers, draping, sequins, opulence, glamorous decor, romantic twinkle lights, and our beautiful guests all dressed to the nines in black-tie optional attire; it was a perfect blend of who we are as people," she said. "Country & classy. A little farm, a little city." LOVE!

"I know every bride probably thinks their wedding was the best one to ever take place at The Barn," Meagan said. "But y'all, TRULY! They not only completely out did themselves; the level to which they surpassed my expectations was immeasurable. I was overwhelmed by the elegance, the drama, and the luster. Trevor admitted to me after the wedding that he never had the vision to understand how it would look fully decorated & put together. He told me that he was impressed to a level of speechlessness on our wedding day. He was completely shocked at how gorgeous it turned out. And he's deeply thankful to the entire staff, especially Lesleigh and Victoria."

During our year-long planning process, I sincerely felt like I was the only wedding they were planning. There were many times that I questioned how on earth they could plan and execute so many fabulous weddings. Because I literally felt like I was their only priority! But they do it. Week in and week out. Every wedding has top priority!! Every bride is indeed special. They take their incredibly important job with the utmost seriousness.
— Meagan

Aren't y'all dying over this dress?!

These portraits of Meagan and Trevor in their first few moments as newlyweds are absolutely beautiful, romantic and perfect. Their excitement and pure JOY are so obvious in these photos! All the love <3

"I'll never forget the moment when Trevor and I went to the back side of The Barn to see the inside before our guests," Meagan said. "They stood us outside the sliding doors and asked if we were ready. When they slid the doors open to reveal the inside in such a way, we both felt like we were on a tv show! It was so enchanting that I screamed!! All of our guests at cocktail hour heard my exclamation of excitement! The Barn completely stole our breath! We both slowly moved throughout the reception area, taking it all in. My heart felt so full, I thought it might explode! As I got closer to the dance floor, with What a Wonderful World playing, Trevor grabbed my hand & said, 'I know this isn't supposed to be our first dance, but it's going to be...' It was so incredibly sweet & romantic! I'll never forget having that private moment with my new husband surrounded by such spectacular loveliness."

We spy Meagan's pretty "something blue" shoes! Fun fact: she did the whole "something old, blue, borrowed and blue" tradition, AND she even wore a sixpence in her shoe!

The fabulous, romantic, glamorous details continued into The Barn for Meagan and Trevor's reception. Just a few of the details I'm absolutely in love with: the gorgeous place settings, purple hues, romantic florals, SEQUINS (swoon!), and that insane draping, which automatically makes The Barn a hundred times more magical and dreamy!

"I know it's a bit cliche to say this, but I'm not sure I can pick a favorite detail, because there were SO many details!” Meagan said.  “From honoring Trevor's dad who passed away earlier this year to the leaves magically falling during our ceremony to the stellar service provided by the staff to our scrumptious and beautiful cake of 4 different flavors, to the incredible dance party provided by our DJ! It was all phenomenal!! My favorite thing about getting married at The Barn was Lesleigh and Victoria. I'm a Type A personality with attention to detail. So I know I probably drove both Victoria and Lesleigh up a wall with my questions and instructions. They couldn't have been more gracious and incredible throughout the process. The fact that they handled practically everything was a huge stress reliever for me. And the relationship we developed created an unbridled trust. I was at complete ease putting the most important day of my life in their hands.”

It's pretty much our favorite thing ever when our couples use their details to tell a little bit of their love story. That's why we LOVED Meagan and Trevor's aviation theme. "Trevor and I both work for a major airline, and that's how we met," Meagan said. "So we had subtle hints of travel and airplanes throughout the day. Our escort cards were tiny paper airplanes pointing at a beautiful globe. The tables were named for places Trevor and I have visited, accompanied by a black and white photo of us in that location. The favors also reflected our aviation connection." Their favors were small metal bottle openers that were shaped like airplanes... adorable!

Meagan and Trevor have impeccable taste, so they chose a design for their cake that was elegant, unique and beautiful. I LOVE this cake. It was a (mostly) classic, simple white cake with one gray and black ombre layer and tons of beautiful purple florals.

Meagan and Trevor's reception was one big, amazing party with their guests, who came all the way from Texas (and all across the country) to be here for their big day! "At the reception our guests kept coming up to me repeating the same things. 'We understand now why you made us come this far. It was the most beautiful wedding I've ever seen. It was perfect. It was stunning.' But the one thing I heard the most; 'It was magical.' And it was. Pure magic," Meagan said.

Meagan and Trevor went on an incredibly romantic, EPIC Italian honeymoon. "We were gone for 10 days," she said. "It was very busy! We saw Rome, Florence, the Tuscan countryside, Pisa, and Cinque Terre!"

Finally, Meagan had the sweetest things to say about our team when I asked her for some feedback on her planning process and her wedding day. "It was purely MAGICAL," she said. "I was floored by how perfectly everything was executed. Everything flowed without me having to worry. Victoria was on top of order and timing and detail. I keep saying, I wish I could hit rewind and do it all again! My heart is so full from our special day. I still get teary just thinking about it. And I owe it all to the good Lord above and the place where dreams come true and magic happens... The Barn At Twin Oaks Ranch."

As if Meagan hasn't already completely blown us away with her kind words, here is the super sweet, heart melting review she left us on Facebook. Meagan, please be our BFF!

Meagan and Trevor, your wedding was one we will never forget! It was EVERYTHING, and you two are such a special couple! We are so, so, soooo thankful you came all the way from Texas to say your I do's at The Barn! Best wishes! xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo

Erica + Matt's Rustic Windmill Wedding

We lovingly refer to today’s wedding as the “windmill wedding.” It was unlike anything we’ve done before and we LOVED it. Have we mentioned how much we adore our Kingfisher, Oklahoma couples?! Erica and Matt were one of our Kingfisher couples (there have been several now) who made the drive all the way from western Oklahoma to elope at The Barn. Their family apparently really loves The Barn, because a few days after Erica and Matt’s wedding, Matt’s son Tanner and his fiance Autumn got ahold of us and asked if they could book their elopement with us… for two days later! They came from Kingfisher and tied the knot on Sunday; it was gorgeous and we can’t wait to share it with you! (FYI, we thought it was time for a Kingfisher tag on here, so you can scroll through all the Kingfisher weddings we’ve had so far.) We’re absolutely swooning over their photos by the always incredible Crystal Malloy Photography! She’s basically our official photographer for Kingfisher couples! :)

Photographer: Crystal Malloy Photography | Venue, Coordination, Design, Florals: The Barn at Twin Oaks Ranch | Bridal Gown: David’s Bridal | Hair & Makeup: Face Your Day Salon | Cake: Kneading Hands Bakery

Erica and Matt were married at The Barn at Twin Oaks Ranch on December 1, 2018. They chose a gorgeous color palette of red, brown, turquoise and cream. Their details were rustic… this bride LOVED windmills, rusty old things, wheat and creamer cans. It was right up our alley!

We’re head over heels for Erica’s bridal gown (from David’s Bridal) with its plunging illusion neckline, stunning back and romantic lace! We also loved the unique, sheer detailing on the sides, as well as her fun red heels. This bride had the most joyful smile on her face all day, which made her the prettiest bride ever!

Erica’s florals were some of the prettiest details from their wedding. They were unique and full of the prettiest late fall/early winter colors, with a combination of rich red dahlias, a mix of brown and cream flowers, seeded eucalyptus, and wheat, all tied up with twine and some blue ribbon. Erica’s dad is a wheat farmer, so it was such a special touch to add wheat in her florals and throughout her other details. Erica simply said her florals were “GORGEOUS!”

One of Erica’s most unforgettable moments from her wedding day was her first look with her dad. These photos absolutely melted us! “It was a very unique and a treasured moment when my Dad saw me for the first time,” Erica said. “He has such a soft heart! As I'm sure you can tell by the pictures!”

Erica and Matt’s ceremony was stunning, thanks in part to the gorgeous 70 degree weather in December! Erica wanted something a little different; she loves rusty old things and windmills, so we used our vintage doors, an old windmill, wooden crates, two rusty creamer cans, and a few mason jars to make the perfect rustic ceremony backdrop. We added florals above the windmill and in the creamer cans and mason jars, and the pops of red were so gorgeous! Erica wanted to use turquoise in her decor as well, so we added that in with a few jade-turquoise ribbons. She and Matt exchanged their vows while standing on what we’ve dubbed our “Kingfisher cowhide.” ;) What can we say?! Our Kingfisher couples love it!

“The windmill and touches of wheat were probably my favorite details,” Erica said.

Erica and Matt’s ceremony was very intimate and sweet, with only her parents in attendance. Erica’s favorite moment of the day was “when I first got to see my husband as I was walking down the aisle,” she said. Can’t you feel the love and pure happiness in these photos?! These two are the absolute sweetest.

Erica said the best thing about getting married at The Barn was that it was “so laid back and non-stressful!”

It was absolutely beautiful! Everything plus more than what we expected!! We are both still in awe at how amazing and perfect it was!
— Erica

Are y’all ready to see the most gorgeous wedding portraits of all time?! We are IN LOVE with these! Erica and Matt are so sweet together, and these photos of them in their first few minutes as husband and wife are so full of joy and love. And they’re just so PRETTY!

It was absolutely perfect! We cannot thank Lesleigh and the team at The Barn enough for how beautiful everything was and how smoothly it all went. It was completely stress free, which was great! We definitely recommend it to anyone looking to tie the knot!
— Erica

For their cake display, we kept things rustic with an old window (with the prettiest red and white flowers) hanging over a wooden crate sitting on an old whiskey barrel. The turquoise ribbon on the floral arrangement and the drink bottle were the perfect finishing touches for this cake display. Their cake was super unique, and I’m not even gonna pretend like I know what this technique is called, but it was amazing! The best cake for a unique, rustic wedding.

After their wedding, Erica and Matt spent a night in Hot Springs, Arkansas, and she said they plan to go on a honeymoon next year!

Erica and Matt, we LOVED every detail of your wedding! It was a dream, and we’re thrilled that you came all the way to The Barn to tie the knot! We wish y’all the best! xoxo

Logan + Dusty's Elegant Burgundy & Black Fall Wedding

Over the next few months, during our off-season, we’ll be sharing some of our most popular weddings from past years with y’all, starting with Logan and Dusty’s! We’ll keep sharing our fall 2018 weddings, too, just as soon as we get all the photos back. But we hope you’ll love looking back on some of our fan favorites that you may have missed! We still ADORE every part of this one!

This wedding is extra special, because the bride is Lesleigh's (The Barn's Owner and Creative Director) sister. Being a member of The Barn family, Logan is super familiar with The Barn and all of its gorgeous weddings. She wanted something unique, and Lesleigh and the team went ALL out creating a dream wedding unlike any other we've done before!

Sterling Imageworks Photography - some of our absolute favorite photographers to work with - did such a beautiful job on this sweet couple's photos, just as they always do! We will also be sure to share their video from Branchout Studios with y'all in the near future.

Logan and Dusty were married at The Barn at Twin Oaks Ranch on September 30, 2017. Their color palette started off as a gorgeous combination of lots of greenery with touches of ivory, burgundy and gold. "The more I thought about it, the more I realized how much I wanted black," Logan said. "I would ask my friends and family and they were on the fence about it. Lesleigh told me I should do what I really want and it will look good regardless, so I went with black!" You should ALWAYS go with what you really want! Adding black to this color palette totally paid off - it was elegant, unique, bold, and SO unique!

Logan and Dusty's florals were unlike any we've done before! "I loved a picture that I saw on Pinterest of a bridesmaid holding a strand of garland," Logan said. "And I knew I loved greenery so I told Les that I just wanted them to have greenery and then add some color in mine. I knew I wanted a wild bouquet because I don't like things to be perfect. And, that's what I got. I loved it!" Her bouquet also had a very special detail: her late grandfather's pocket watch. "That really meant a lot to me," she said.

We sorta reinvented the flower crown for this wedding... Logan and her bridesmaids all wore small floral headpieces that were so uniquely STUNNING. One of my favorite details of their day, for sure!

Logan's dress was an absolute dream bridal gown - it was from Inverness, and it was just as unique and stunning as the rest of their details. This dress was PERFECTION - the details, the texture, the silhouette, the neckline, and the veil! Logan, you are such a gorgeous bride!

The bridesmaids looked chic in black floor-length dresses from ShowMeYourMuMu. I love their different necklines and how timeless and elegant the black dresses paired with their greenery bouquets and the florals in their hair. The guys wore classic black tuxes - the best! Most gorgeous bridal party ever!

Boots & bow ties... yes, please!

And uh, things got a little weird at this wedding... You'll wanna scroll down for even more weirdness. ;)

Logan and Dusty had the sweetest first look before their ceremony. This was one of the most special first looks The Barn has ever seen, because of the fact that this land is where Logan grew up. "My favorite part about getting married at The Barn is that it's home," she said. "It's where I have spent my entire life. I have ridden those pastures more times then I can count, played in the woods since I could walk, and you'll have to ask Les if I am making this up, but I swear we would swing on vines down the hill. I'm so blessed beyond belief that The Barn just happened to be in the perfect spot."

Y'all, we're going to have heart eyes FOREVER over this ceremony! Their altar was a dream - the burgundy draping blew so beautifully in the breeze, and the bold colored florals and greenery were so, sooo pretty. And this aisle... one of the most beautiful and unique we've ever done! Their pretty little guestbook table (with a fun Polaroid guestbook alternative) was just the icing on the cake.

"Lesleigh knew I wanted my ceremony to be different somehow because there have been so many ceremonies in that spot," Logan said. "We searched the entire pasture and decided I should leave it there because it's where my brother got married, and c''s just way to pretty to pass up. But, she did surprise me with a type of archway going down the aisle. It meant a lot that she would do that for me. Just having my sister be such a huge part of my wedding made it special to me and truly mine. Not to mention she also surprised me with the banjo that I wanted so badly at the ceremony!"

Not even joking, these are some of the best post-ceremony bridal portraits The Barn has ever seen. Scratch that... Some of the best THE WORLD has ever seen. ;)

Logan and Dusty's reception was magical! The black and burgundy linens on the tables were elegant and beautiful, and the black glittery runners made such a bold statement. The florals and greenery were stunning, and every little detail was perfect! "The black tapers were pretty dang awesome," Logan said. "The moment Lesleigh brought it up, my jaw dropped and all I could think was 'YUSSS!' Such a tiny detail, but I think they made the table arrangements."

Logan's white and gold cake was elegant and timeless, and Dusty had a fun guitar groom's cake and yummy pies - the flowers on the pies were such a sweet detail!

These two also had a reallllly great idea for their favors. "Dusty's mom Betty makes awesome homemade salsa," Logan said. "I asked her if she would mind making some for the wedding if I would help; of course, she said yes. I didn't get to help because when she was doing it all, I was in Colorado visiting Dusty. I'm a terrible daughter-in-law, but she didn't mind one bit. She made every ounce with love and I guarantee you that's why it's so tasty."

Logan and Dusty shared their first dance as husband and wife under a greenery topped chandelier. One moment that Logan will never forget: her dance with her dad. "Oh gosh, my dance with my dad felt like it was never going to end," she said. "I was bawling my eyes out the whole time. I loved every moment of it, and it was so special, but I bet everyone was looking at me crazy! I'll never forget that moment though."

After the most magical grand exit, Logan and Dusty went off on a two-part honeymoon! "The first bit we spent at a secluded cabin up in the Blue Ridge Mountains in Georgia right by the North Carolina border," Logan said. "Our cabin was perfect and the view was incredible. All you could see was forest and mountains. We would also watch the sunset on the back porch which was so beautiful and the perfect spot to do so. Sometimes we would watch it in the hot tub (which it was perfect hot tub weather) and it was just amazing. Our second part, we went to Nashville. Dusty has always wanted to go, so I kind of surprised him with the trip to Nashville on the way back and second row seats at the Grand Ole Opry. We got lucky because it was the Birthday Bash weekend so, they had a bunch of great artists that performed!"

Logan said her wedding day was everything she could have hoped for! "Five star staff!" she said. "I changed my mind about some stuff a lot and (aside from Lesleigh) no one me at least ;)"

Logan and Dusty, your wedding was pure magic and one we will never forget! Best wishes to you both! xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo
