Amanda + Brad's Intimate, Pink Shabby Chic Wedding

I'll just come out and say it: I am head-over-heels in love/completely obsessed with this wedding. It is, hands down, one of my favorites. When you see these photos (by the incredibly talented Elmer Escobar), I'm sure you'll recognize some of them... I've only mentioned this wedding on the blog about a hundred times! Everything about this wedding is perfection. The bouquet is one of my favorites, the cake is the cutest ever (by theCakePlace), and that altar... well, it is just totally swoon-worthy. There are teacups (!), pink ruffles and lots of romance! And this wedding is proof that even if it rains on your wedding day, the staff at The Barn is going to make it fabulous anyway.

This wedding just so happens to be one of our elopements (which I told you all about in this post). Elopements at The Barn are pure magic. They're sweet and intimate, and they are just as beautiful as our full-blown weddings.

Amanda and Brad were married at The Barn at Twin Oaks Ranch on September 12, 2014. As with all of our elopements, The Barn Team had full creative freedom on Amanda and Brad's decor. When you book an elopement with us, we let you give us an idea of the overall colors and style that you like (or we just creep on your Pinterest boards!), which gives us an idea of what you're looking for. Amanda and Brad chose their wedding colors, which were mint and pink. The style of their decor was shabby chic, romantic and feminine, with the prettiest pastels.

"The staff at The Barn took my ideas from Pinterest and ran with them," Amanda said. "I didn't have a clue what they were going to do until I showed up the day of!" That may sound a little scary, but our team is sort of great at mind-reading... Our elopement couples always end up with something they love! :)

As I mentioned before, it rained on Amanda and Brad's wedding day! "I was really sad at first, because I have always wanted an outdoor wedding, but on the big day, it was raining cats and dogs," Amanda said. "But when I showed up and saw what they did with The Barn, I almost cried. It was more beautiful and perfect than I had imagined."

That's one thing I love about The Barn; our team is wonderful at handling rain on your big day! When the weather gets iffy, these ladies always set up something incredible inside The Barn! Or, you know, we'll also let you get married outside in the rain if that's what your heart desires. (Have you seen how amazing these rainy day weddings turned out? Samantha + Danny, Anita + WesleySarah + Drake, Cara + Brock)

Amanda's stunning dress came from Ann's Bridal in Searcy. How gorgeous is she?! Brad looks pretty darn handsome as well!

My favorite part of getting married at The Barn was that it was (nearly) stress free. They take care of almost everything and I couldn’t have pulled it off without them.

Amanda's bouquet was so, sooo gorgeous. Truly one of my favorites! "My bouquet was stunning," she said. "The soft pastels really worked together, making the florals one of my favorite things about the day."

Amanda and Brad's decor was incredible! Their altar was amazing... so romantic and stunning! Candlelight inside The Barn is a truly magical thing.

This beautiful couple's ceremony was sweet and intimate and so full of love. They tied the knot surrounded by 20 of their loved ones. A close friend officiated the ceremony. They wrote his script, as well as their vows. They walked down the aisle to acoustic versions of "18th Floor Balcony" by Blue October and "Welcome to the Black Parade" by My Chemical Romance. After the ceremony, they walked back down the aisle to "Tour of The Kingdom" from The Little Mermaid. How sweet is that?! They didn't have a wedding party, which is something that is really growing on me!

I will never forget that right when I said “I do” it felt like I was hit with an electric jolt. I have never felt more alive than in that moment.

Our elopement packages don't include dinner, but they do include a fabulous cake made by theCakePlace (which you can read more about here). Amanda and Brad's cake was seriously the. cutest. ever.

"I LOVED the cake," Amanda said. "It was absolutely perfect and tasted as good as it looked."

After their wedding, Amanda and Brad took a 7-day cruise around the Caribbean for their honeymoon. They went to Cozumel, Mexico; Georgetown, Grand Cayman; and Falmouth, Jamaica. They swam with stingrays and dolphins in Grand Cayman and cruised around Cozumel on Harleys! Sounds perfect!

Amanda and Brad, thank you SO MUCH for allowing us to be a part of your gorgeous wedding day! We wish you the very best! xoxoxo

See, y'all?! I told you this one was top-notch! I just can't get enough. <3

xoxo,
