10 Barn Weddings is probably my favorite series on this little ol' blog, because it means I get to flip back through ALL of our weddings and pick out 10 that fit within a certain category. And although I've looked at each of our weddings countless times, it still makes me SO happy to look through the photos of these precious couples and their stunning weddings.
Today, rather than showing you 10 of our gorgeous weddings, I want to show you some of our styled shoots! Our team works incredibly hard on our styled shoots, and it's the perfect opportunity for each of them to be completely creative, with no restraints. The talents of these women blow my mind time and time again! Here are 10 of our mind-blowingly gorgeous styled shoots:
You probably have seen a lot of photos from our Native American Heritage styled shoot from last fall, because I can't shut up about it! This shoot had the most gorgeous bridal gowns and prom dresses (from Formal Affairs), a stunning cake (from theCakePlace), gorgeous (and sweet!) models, and the most AMAZING Native American-inspired details (by The Barn Team). I wrote about our inspiration for the shoot and shared some behind-the-scenes photos here. Then I shared the professional photos, by Ken Gehring Photography, here.
This was our very first styled shoot at The Barn! This shoot happened in the fall of 2011, way before The Barn ever opened up! Actually, it hadn't even been built yet. This shoot had a bride in flannel, rustic chic details, moody weather and lighting, puppies AND horses, and mini pies, so you know it was good. See more of this shoot here.
Our Rustic Fiesta styled shoot is one of my favorites, and probably the most colorful! Our team also did this shoot before The Barn opened, in the spring of 2012. This shoot had SO many colorful details, succulents, mini Patron bottles (the cutest), papel picado, the coolest cake, colorful streamers, and so many other pretty details. You'll notice that we did this shoot before The Barn even had a floor. ;) We've come a long way! You simply must see more of this shoot here.
Our Hot Pink Kisses styled shoot was simply amazing. (If you want to know why it's called Hot Pink Kisses, click here and scroll down to the very last picture. ;) This shoot had a fun pink and orange color scheme. It also had a dress that was customized by our team... and it was FABULOUS. The details of this shoot are just incredible, from the flowers and the cakes to the stationery and that super cute streamer backdrop. You've got to see all the details, right here. (P.S. The photos from this shoot are some of our most repinned! Folks have LOVED this one.)
Our Chickin 'n Biskits shoot was as country as country gets, and it was seriously cute. There were baby chicks involved, so this one is a winner. This shoot was styled by one of our past interns, Melanie. She did a great job! Other highlights from this shoot: sunflowers (including a sunflower crown!), real chickens, baby chicks in a bowl (seriously), cute country details, and a rusty old tractor. Check it out in all its glory right here!
Our 2012 Winter Shoot was styled by our planner Victoria, back when she was an intern. This shoot is even more proof that our team LOVES details! This shoot has it all. Fake snow? Check. Leopard print? Check. Haybales and a cowhide and the most beautiful flowers? Check, check and check! See more of this shoot here.
I love the Love is Pink shoot so much, I couldn't possibly pick just one photo to show you. This shoot had a model in a pink bridal gown, so it is obviously my favorite. ;) But seriously. Look at those EYELASHES. And that HAIR. Not to mention the flowers, the cake, the stationery, the pink painted pallet, and all the other details. Major heart eyes for this shoot. Also, you might recognize these models... that's Emily + Casey from the glitz & glam Aztec-inspired wedding! Check out the rest of it here.
If you haven't gotten the memo... our team is all about some details. And our Winter Fantasy styled shoot is proof. A fabulous cake, a cute little owl, lots of fur, some #sassfab boots, cow skulls, gorgeous floral arrangements, crazy-awesome eye makeup, sequins, a little bit of glitter, a HUGE bouquet... this shoot has it all. See more of it here!
Our Country Girl Chic shoot was styled by our Facilities Manager, Milissia. This shoot was cute, colorful, sweet and Southern. Look at this precious flower girl! (And her tiny painted toenails!) This shoot included rustic details, like the wagon wheel table, colorful flowers, plenty of hydrangeas, a streamer backdrop, and lots of red. You can see the rest of it right here.
These photos are from our 2012 Summer Interns styled shoots. Our former intern Cat styled the first part of the shoot, which was inspired by vintage English tea parties. I love the chandelier, the pom poms, the model's skirt, the teacups, the vintage books, and all the pink, girly details! The second part of the shoot was styled by our former intern Karly. The theme was vintage Americana. This shoot had pretty flowers, American flags, Coke bottles, a baseball and bat, and plenty of red, white and blue! See the rest of these shoots here.
Doesn't the talent of our team just blow your mind?! Which of these is your favorite? My favorites are probably the Love is Pink and Native American Heritage shoots! But I really love them all. :)
Y'all have a fantastic weekend!
