I know, I know, we don't typically post on a Wednesday but I'm still getting used this blogging thing and my time management (LOL, but seriously tho). I traveled over the weekend, hence the late blog. I was hoping to would find something that would inspire me and I certainly did. I went to the Texas State Fair...If you've ever been you know that the people watching there is out-of-this-world amazing!!!
It seems as though every year I end up going on Texas OU weekend. If you're not from Texas or don't follow college football, that's the weekend that Texas plays OU at the Cotton Bowl (in the fairgrounds) and it's a huge rivalry. Needless to say, the college kids are swarming in their trendiest college football attire. If you're a college girl this year, apparently, the thing to wear is a white ivory romper. They were EVERYWHERE!!!! This got me to thinking....I wonder what kind of rompers are available for wedding party's AND are they cute, or totally tacky?!
I was taken by surprise to find, that I actually LOVE the wedding romper idea. Not only is it cute and fashionable, I think it would be a fabulous alternative to the dress! Especially as we approach cooler temps, how fun would it be to wear a romper and toss a cute shawl over your shoulders??
Check out these fabulous wedding rompers and how you can incorporate them into your BIG DAY......
Getting Ready Rompers
I love this alternative to the robes for your bridesmaids. You've seen the cute satin floral print robes that brides are buying for their gals. I think these getting ready rompers are too cute and so much fun! Opt for this look if you want to go with something unique and flirty for your gal pals.
Brides, just say NO to the gown...
For all of you trendy, fashion forward brides out there, opt for a romper in lieau of a gown. They are not only GORGEOUS, I'm sure they are pretty dang comfy too. If you still want that traditional gown, perhaps go for the romper look during your reception or for your getaway outfit. Check out how elegant and lovely these looks are...
A Honeymoon Must Have!
If you can't bring yourself to try a romper on your big day, then you MUST pack on for the honeymoon. They make great swimsuit cover ups, cute and comfy shopping wear, or just for lounging around your suite.
Bridesmaids, Oh Behave!!
Tell me a bridal party in rompers (or jumpsuits) would not be the funnest group of girls ever?! I LOVE the look of these coral jumpsuits.
Ok, so for real, would you opt for a romper for you or your wedding party on your wedding day? I would that's for sure, in some form or fashion, but then again, I like to push the envelope a little bit and do things outside the box. But it's worth giving it a second thought for sure!
Oh, and for that Texas OU game at the State Fair, in case you didn't hear already, Texas won - MAJOR upset.
Until next time y'all - Adios!!
