We're totally feeling unique bridesmaids' attire these days. (Did you see Lesleigh's post a few weeks ago about rompers for weddings? So cute!) I recently saw a wedding photo on Facebook of the loveliest group of bridesmaids wearing full, floor-length blush chiffon skirts with white t-shirts. The skirts were stunning and pretty dressy, but paired with the plain tops, they were instantly made perfect for a more casual wedding, which is what this couple had. (The only thing that would have made their outfits even better: a statement necklace or floral crowns!)
Anyway, this photo got me thinking about how rare it is to see bridesmaids wearing skirts and blouses, or other separates, rather than a dress. I don't think we've ever seen that at The Barn (if we have, forgive me!)... And I really think that should change! I looove skirts + tops/sweaters/cardigans/t-shirts for bridesmaids. While a two-piece outfit can be a little on the casual side, there are also options that are appropriate for a more formal wedding. Here are some of my favorite ideas, from casual to formal, for two-piece bridesmaids outfits!
I also LOVE this idea for super fashionable, modern brides, or brides whose weddings are more on the casual side!
What do you think about this look for bridesmaids and brides? Would you ever consider this for your girls, or would you opt for more traditional dresses instead?
