I know what you're thinking. "Colorful rustic-chic biker wedding... Huh?!" Yes, you read that correctly! And yes, The Barn team is capable of pulling off any style of wedding. It's official. ;) This sweet couple's late summer wedding was full of colorful, rustic-chic details, and lots and lots of sweeeeet motorcycles. Certainly one of our most unique weddings, and we loved it!
These photos were taken by Taletha Moore from Tootsie Toes Photography, and they perfectly captured this sweet couple's fun, colorful wedding!
Samantha and Ross were married at The Barn at Twin Oaks Ranch on September 5, 2015. Their wedding colors were orange and coral, and Samantha described their theme as "country slash biker." It was fabulous!
Samantha's sweet, sassy little bridal gown was perfect for a fun, casual wedding. It was from Danielle's Bridal, and she totally rocked it! And she also wore boots, which you know we're all crazy about.
She and Ross scheduled a first look before their ceremony, and it was sweet and romantic. Portraits from first looks are always the prettiest! These two are obviously crazy about each other. <3 And I love that there's a motorcycle! Perfect for these two.
Samantha's bridesmaids wore cute, casual coral dresses from JCPenney. I love this look! It couldn't have fit their wedding's relaxed, country vibe any better.
Now let's talk about these flowers. Oh my goodness! Samantha's bouquet included orange and pink lilies, pink roses, and pops of fuchsia, coral and orange. Her bouquet was wrapped with burlap and pinned. The bridesmaids carried the sweetest pink rose bouquets.
Samantha and Ross had a casual, fun, intimate wedding ceremony. Their ceremony details were colorful and fun. The aisle was lined with mason jars filled with orange and coral arrangements. They had a burlap altar and a pretty sweet alternative to a guestbook... a custom gas tank for a Harley!
"My favorite part of getting married was knowing that I had my best friend marry me and love me," Samantha said. "He made the commitment to stand by my side as do I to him."
Samantha and Ross also shared a funny inside joke during their ceremony, which always makes it extra special. ;) "Not many people know, but I have a hard time with directions, i.e. my life and right, so during the ceremony, my husband puts up both hands, giggles and puts the correct hand up," she said.
Samantha and Ross's reception included lots of colorful, rustic-chic details. Their tables had burlap tablecloths, lanterns, arrangements that matched Samantha's bouquet and coral place settings. They also had two unique details... pictures of loved ones who have passed away and some pretty sweet motorcycles. They also had the prettiest white cake with pearls and coral flower details!
"Honestly, the whole day was my favorite," Samantha said. "But the prettiest things were my bouquet and the reception." We would have to agree!
When their big day was over, the newlyweds headed off to Fairfield Bay, Arkansas. "We went golfing, swimming, hiking and checking out the town," Samantha said. "It was a nice, quiet area. It was fun and relaxing."
Finally, I asked Samantha for a little bit of feedback, and this is what she said about us! "It was absolutely amazing. Rehearsal was awesome. I loved my coordinator and planners. They all did an amazing job. Cindy was my rock; she kept me calm and in tune for months. When I got there, all the flowers and arrangements and designs were beautiful. Walking into the reception was something I'd never imagined. It was absolutely gorgeous. The food was amazing, drinks were amazing. Thank you to all The Barn staff... It was gorgeous and I loved every minute."
Samantha and Ross, planning your dream wedding was our pleasure! We are so happy you loved your big day! We wish y'all the very best! xoxoxoxoxo
See what I mean?! A colorful, rustic-chic biker wedding can totally happen. And it can turn out pretty darn fantastic! Have a great weekend!
