There are few things I love more than a pink wedding. Especially one that has insanely gorgeous flowers, the prettiest rustic-chic details, and a super cute pup! Everything about this wedding is so pretty! Plus, this couple is super fun and so in love. These photos were taken by Tryston Hines, one of our preferred photographers, and they're lovely. Y'all are going to LOVE this one!
Megan and Jonathan were married at The Barn at Twin Oaks Ranch on July 13, 2013. Their wedding colors were blush and ivory... so pretty! The style of their details was a little bit rustic chic, a little bit shabby chic, and very feminine and pretty. "I more so chose our colors and Jonathan just went with the flow and proceeded to say, 'Whatever you want babe,'" Megan said. Good job, Jonathan! ;)
Megan said she wanted something other than a traditional church wedding. "I also wanted to have a barn wedding because all of my family is from Las Vegas, so it would also be different for them and something they have never seen," she said. "They absolutely enjoyed everything, by the way."
Megan's dress is one of my favorites! It was from David's Bridal, and the floral lace details are stunning. Totally swooning over this pretty thing!
Megan, you are such a gorgeous bride!
These last three pictures are from Megan's bridal session. You know we love this gal... we LOVE a bride in boots! ;)
Megan's bridesmaids' dresses came from the Etsy shop Coralie Beatrix. This style of dress is brilliant, because you can wrap them a million different ways... which means no matter what your body type is, you'll be able to find a silhouette that works for you! Plus the color is gorgeous.
Jonathan's groomsmen looked pretty sharp too, especially in the #sassfab photo below. ;)
Megan and Jonathan also had the cutest flower girls and ring bearer! Those flower girl dresses could not be any more precious.
I'm not exaggerating when I say that Megan's bouquet was one of my favorites ever in The Barn's history. It consisted of gorgeous pink and white roses and peonies, with a few pops of yellow roses. It also had a few brooches mixed in that made it extra special! "The brooches came from my grandma and great grandma, who unfortunately could not be there due to her health," Megan said. "I was very happy that I was able to have a part of her there."
Megan and Jonathan chose to have a first look (which we're always big fans of), and these next few photos could not be any sweeter. Y'all are precious!
As I mentioned, Megan and Jonathan's cute pup Megpie was also in their wedding! Megan said she was one of their favorite parts of their wedding day. "She is very special to us, and it was important to us to have her there!" Megan said. They've added another puppy named Penny to their family since the wedding!
Megan and Jonathan's ceremony decor was simple and pretty. They had burlap-and-lace-wrapped mason jars filled with pink and white floral arrangements lining the aisle. They had a lace altar with gorgeous arrangements. Even their burlap and lace unity candle was beautiful!
Megan said the ceremony was her favorite part of the day. "There are no words to describe how amazing it was," she said. "It was so intimate and romantic and just the way we wanted it."
(I'm really sorry for the massive amount of photos you're about to see, but they were all so pretty, I couldn't narrow them down anymore!)
These flower girls could not be cuter!
Now that is a kiss!!!
After their sweet ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests headed over to The Barn for a pink, rustic/shabby chic ceremony. And boy, were the details stunning! Their tables had white tablecloths with burlap runners, pink and white floral arrangements, lace-wrapped jars and twine-wrapped bottles, and the prettiest blush, white and gold place settings with a sweet note for their loved ones.
The Barn always looks good in pink, ivory and burlap!
Megan's cake was stunning. It came from theCakePlace, and the ruffly details were gorgeous! Jonathan's Razorback groom's cake was also fantastic.
Y'all are awesome!
Megan wanted to give their guests jam favors, but she said it just didn't come together. They ended up deciding at the last minute to do flower seeds with "Take One and Watch Love Grow" written on the sign. "Long story short, I was in a time crunch and the flower seeds were the only thing I could think of doing that would be quick to have made and still go with the theme," Megan said. "Just shows that there will always be something that doesn't go your way and you just have to roll with it and not stress too much about it." Brides everywhere, take note! There will always be something that will go wrong, but you've just gotta be like Megan and go with the flow. :)
There are so many good dancing photos from this reception! These two and their loved ones sure know how to have a good time! Plus, they had a really sweet, romantic first dance, and the photos of it are the prettiest.
After a really fun reception, Megan and Jonathan ran away on a seven-day Royal Caribbean cruise. "We loved every single minute of it!" Megan said. "It was so romantic and such a blast. We cannot wait to go again!"
I always ask our brides to give us a little feedback on how we did, and Megan was sooo sweet! Here's what she said: "Everyone at The Barn did a fantastic job! You guys exceeded our expectations! The decor was stunning and Cindy did a fabulous job coordinating our wedding! We could not have been happier with everything. We might need to renew our vows so we can have another fabulous wedding here! :)
Megan and Jonathan, it was our pleasure! Thank you x a million for choosing The Barn as your wedding venue! We're already looking forward to your vow renewal. ;) xoxoxoxo
