Sasha + Nathan's Earthy Spring Wedding

As y'all know, I'm just a little bit excited that spring is finally here! And by a little, I mean I can't shut up about it. (If you've been keeping up with the blog, you already know this. ;) That's why I'm thrilled to share this gorgeous wedding today! It just screams spring, and it makes me happy! The colors are perfection, the couple is precious, and the simple details are stunning.

These photos were taken by Liz Chrisman Photography, and they are beautiful! I can't wait for y'all to see this one.

Sasha and Nathan were married at The Barn at Twin Oaks Ranch on April 6, 2013. Their colors were pale green and daffodil yellow. Sasha said she wanted a look that was "springy, but not too girly." The Barn in spring is beautiful, so it was the perfect backdrop for this wedding.

"I didn't have a theme per se, but I wanted it to be springy and earthy," Sasha said. "I really wanted a simple elegance."

While we're on the subject of elegance, take a look at Sasha's stunning dress! It was from Rendezvous in Russellville, and it's totally swoon-worthy.

Sasha also wore a simply beautiful yellow and white flower crown, and we all know how much I love those. So obviously I am extra in love with this wedding just because of that one tiny detail! ;)

Sasha, you are stunning!

Sasha's bridesmaids wore the loveliest green dresses from David's Bridal. The groomsmen wore classic black suits with green ties and yellow boutonnieres. Doesn't this wedding party look amazing?!

Let's talk about Sasha's beautiful yellow and white bouquets and arrangements, which she said were some of her favorite details. They consisted of daffodils with white accents. Her bouquet was wrapped with lace, and some of the other arrangements incorporated lace as well. "I have my bouquet and my maid of honor's bouquet dried and on display in my home now," she said.

The ceremony decor was simply beautiful, with a lace altar and mason jars of yellow and white flower arrangements lining the aisle. All of the lace accents made this ceremony so dreamy!

"We also had a painting of a tree on a large canvas that acted as our guestbook," Sasha said.  "The tree had two cats in it to act as love birds (what can I say, we’re cat people), and it was blooming daffodils instead of leaves, so it was representative of us and our wedding."

As you can tell, this ceremony was incredibly sweet and romantic. The way Nathan looks at his bride... precious!

Of course, it’s over before you know it, but it was wonderful. It was really stress free, which is great because you certainly don’t want to be worrying about all the little things on your big day. It was more than I hoped for, I think. I know that I had a hand in every detail, and made decisions and offered input, so I shouldn’t have been surprised, but seeing it all put together just really blew me away. Cindy and The Barn team did an awesome job!

Don't these two look so happy?! These portraits after the ceremony are gorgeous. That newlywed glow! :)

Getting ready to walk down the aisle. Entering the reception as a married couple. Our first dance. The way The Barn was lit up at night. It goes by fast, but there are a lot of memories packed in there that I will always treasure.

Sasha and Nathan's reception decor was also simple and elegant. They had yellow and white floral arrangements that matched their bouquets and ceremony arrangements. The tables were set with white tablecloths, burlap runners, candles, white and gold dinnerware and white napkins.

"We did something simple that went well with the décor, which was to take some photos from our relationship and decoupage them onto canvases, so it was kind of shabby chic, and we had those around the reception area," Sasha said.

I love this photo of Sasha and Nathan outside The Barn before their first dance. It's the sweetest!

Their gorgeous cake perfectly fit with their yellow and green color scheme and their simply elegant theme.

The rest of their reception was spent dancing, playing games and having a great time with their loved ones. These photos are so fun!

My favorite part about getting married at The barn was that it was the exact venue I was looking for. An absolutely beautiful, simple, outdoor wedding. Also, everything was taken care of, so it was stress free.

Sasha and Nathan had one of my very favorite exits from The Barn. Their guests threw flower petals, and the photos turned out spectacular!

"We left the reception and went straight to Little Rock," Sasha said. "Early the next morning we caught a flight to Maui, and it was beautiful!  There was so much to do there, but we pretty much stayed on the beach.  It was so relaxing and beautiful.  The perfect start to our marriage."

As always, I asked Sasha to let us know how we did. This is what she said: "It was perfect.  I think that everything went wonderfully and I would highly recommend it.  Picturesque venue, talented and professional staff, and worry free."

Sasha and Nathan, thank you so much for choosing us as your wedding venue! It was an honor. We wish y'all the very best! xoxoxoxo

Didn't y'all adore this one? It doesn't get much sweeter than this, folks! It makes me even more excited for spring weddings!
