Tonight is Kelsey + Gueorgui's wedding at The Barn, and we're so excited! If you've been following along with this blog, you've seen my posts about their wedding consultation and their 30 day meeting. It's been so fun for me to tag along to all of their meetings! As a former Barn Bride, I've been on that side of the planning experience, but it's been really interesting to see things from a Barn team member's point of view, too.
Their wedding's theme is very forest-woodland-chic, with lots of greenery and pale flowers and moss and beautiful, woodsy things. I can't wait to tell you all about it next week! In celebration of their wedding filled with lots of green, I wanted to show you some of the gorgeous green weddings we've had at The Barn! Not all of these were technically green weddings, but they all at least included lots of greenery in their bouquets and floral arrangements (my fave!).
Here are some of the loveliest green weddings everrrrr:
Samantha + Danny's woodland, boho-chic wedding was one of my absolute favorites! Their colors were seafoam (my favorite color!), gold and cream. Such a unique, beautiful color palette! This wedding had my favorite bouquets, a stunning aisle + altar, a barefoot bride, a rainy, magical ceremony, and this gorgeous green ombre cake! Did y'all notice how many times I used the word "favorite" in this paragraph? Go checking this wedding out, and you'll see why. ;)
Kaleena + Spencer's wedding was dreamy and romantic! Their colors were green and blue, which they chose based on each other's eye color... how precious is that?! Some of favorite things from this wedding: their simply stunning flowers, the mismatched bridesmaids' dresses, Kaleene's beautiful gown, and a few sweet burlap details.
Jaclynn + Tyler's wedding was green all over! From their flowers to the bridesmaids' dresses and their favors to their getaway car (seriously!)... everything at this wedding was green and gorgeous! Their burlap altar was the prettiest, and we are still talking about those flowers! They were green and cream with lots of texture. They got married during the spring, and Arkansas just so happens to be very green, thick and lush during the springtime, which made this wedding even prettier!
Ashley + Derrick's summer wedding was full of pink and coral, with mint details and greenery in their bouquets and floral arrangements. If you haven't seen Ashley's bouquet, you've gotta head over to their album and check it out! It's one of the best. Ever. Anywhere. Seriously. Other details from this wedding that I loved: the prettiest peonies (swoooon!), colorful cakes, vintage postcards instead of a guestbook, and did I mention those flowers?! ;)
EmeryAnn + Andrew's boho-chic wedding had it all: a fabulous naked cake, the prettiest bouquets and floral arrangements, hanging ceiling treatments (amazing!), lace doilies everywhere (even on their ceremony seating), and lots of gorgeous greenery. This bride's bouquet is one of my favorites, and I'm pretty sure it's because of all that cascading greenery!
Cara + Brock's classic wedding was another one of our blue + green weddings! Most of their details were blue, and paired with pops of green flowers, it was beautiful! Most of their flowers were hydrangeas, in green, blue and cream. This wedding was moved into The Barn because of rain, and it was so pretty and romantic!
Sasha + Nathan's spring wedding was yellow, green, simple and earthy. They had simple, yellow flower arrangements and bouquets, burlap reception table details, green bridesmaids' dresses, and the bride even wore a flower crown! Sometimes simple is prettiest, and this wedding is proof.
This isn't actually a wedding, but it's one of our styled shoots... our Native American Heritage styled shoot from last fall! There were so many beautiful details at this shoot, including the most amazing flower crown (...greenery crown? whatever), a bouquet that weighed like 15 pounds (you can see it here), teepees (!) and lovely green arrangements on the table. This shoot was one of a kind!
Courtney + Chad's summer wedding was extra colorful, with cute, country details! They used lots of bright colors in their decor, and green was one of the most predominant. These mismatched green bridesmaids' dresses are awesome! Courtney carried a brooch bouquet, with lots of green of course. They had a fun, relaxed reception with plenty of colorful details, including tulips hanging from the chandeliers!
Bethany + Jamie's fairy tale wedding was far from green (their color palette was blush, marsala and leopard print), but the greenery in their altar and bouquets deserves an honorable mention! Other highlights from this wedding: Bethany's incredible dress, the most handsome suits, and a cake fit for a princess.
See why green is my favorite color?! Love love love. I hope y'all have a great weekend! I can't wait to show y'all photos from tonight's gorgeous GREEN wedding! :)
