Cedrah + Lee's Colorful Spring Wedding

The wedding I'm sharing with y'all today was maybe The Barn's most colorful wedding ever. And that is very much a good thing! Spring is the most perfect time for a bright, colorful wedding, and this one was amazing. This couple is so fun, and their wedding really reflected their personalities! By the way, these two will celebrate their first anniversary this weekend, and we're so happy for them!

These photos were taken by Kati Mallory Photo & Design, and they're so bright and beautiful.

Cedrah and Lee were married at The Barn at Twin Oaks Ranch on April 26, 2014. Their wedding theme was fun, bright and colorful! Their color scheme was orange, oasis blue, purple, red, yellow and green. Yes, that's a lot, but wait until you see how amazing their flowers and decor were!

"We love spring and all the color it brings," Cedrah said. "Lee and I are both loud people in the sense that we have big personalities and are very different. The color scheme was a way to reflect that about each other. We both love color!"

Cedrah's dress, which was from Impression Bridal in Houston, was so uniquely stunning! The neckline on this dress is amazing. And the flowers in her hair were such a fun, lovely detail!

Cedrah's favorite detail from her wedding day? The gorgeous, colorful bouquets and floral arrangements, of course! "Out of everything, those were the most perfect," she said.

She carried a bouquet of daisies, sunflowers, tulips, ranunculus and scabiosa pods, while the bridesmaids carried simple daisy bouquets. "The color scheme matched perfectly to what we wanted," she said. "I have never seen more gorgeous flowers."

The bridesmaids wore bridesmaids dresses from David's Bridal in the most beautiful shade of oasis blue, while the groom and groomsmen looked handsome in gray suits with oasis blue ties. This color is gorgeous and looks incredible with those colorful bouquets!

This wedding had so many unique details that told this sweet couple's story. Those are always the best kinds of details!

"My sisters gave me a crocheted hanky from my grandmother who had recently passed," Cedrah said. "That was very special to me. Also, Lee and I met in Germany so we thought it would be important to play some popular music from the time we met. We had our guestbook be a map of the world with a heart in Germany and a heart in Arkansas. We also painted clothes pins the same colors as our wedding and hung pictures all around The Barn of our family members and us."

Cedrah and Lee's ceremony was perfect and beautiful. Their burlap draped altar had beautiful floral arrangements that matched Cedrah's bouquet. This has to be one of our most gorgeous altars ever! Their aisle was lined with logs topped with colorful arrangements, too.

One of Cedrah's most memorable moments from the day came during the ceremony. "Probably the fact that I couldn't get the ring on Lee's finger," she said. "His knuckle was swollen for some reason and I couldn't slide the darn thing on! It was a moment of embarrassment, but also a comedic relief during the ceremony."

The Barn is such a beautiful space; I can’t pick a favorite aspect. It flowed wonderfully for guests and was a fairy tale setting.

After their ceremony, Cedrah and Lee had a beautiful, colorful, fun reception in The Barn! Their reception tables were stunning: color blocked florals on colorful chevron table runners. They had colorful place settings with burlap details.

Their cake, made by theCakePlace, was unique, pretty and colorful... just like every other detail from this wedding!

Cedrah and Lee's favors were mint chocolates that were made by a friend. These two were "mint to be," y'all! :)

The rest of this reception was clearly a fun time, with lots of dancing and fun and hanging out around the fire pit!

When their big day was over, the newlyweds made their grand exit from The Barn and headed out for a super fun honeymoon.

"We were very fortunate to get a honeymoon," Cedrah said. "My husband is military and was deploying shortly after our wedding. So we were able to get a week of much need R&R. We went to the Dominican Republic and stayed in an all-inclusive resort.  The beach was heaven and the weather was perfect. Not too hot and not too cold. We didn’t go on any excursions because we wanted to just be lazy. It was a dream experience."

Cedrah and Lee, thank y'all so much for choosing The Barn as your wedding venue! It was such a joy to get to be a part of your fun, colorful big day! We wish y'all the very best, and happy anniversary! xoxoxoxo
