Today's wedding was from The Barn's really early days... way back in 2012, when we first opened! I love looking at these old weddings, because it's amazing to see where our team has been and how far they've come. I'm definitely not insinuating that our first weddings weren't amazing... they certainly were! All I'm saying is that lots of things have changed around here, and our team has really perfected their methods over the last few years!
These photos were taken by Captured by Cottingham Photography, and they're just lovely!
This wedding took place back in November 2012. The theme was rustic chic, with a light blue and ivory color palette and a few burlap accents.
Let's talk about these gorgeous bouquets! They were simple, yet stunning... a perfect mixture of ivory hydrangeas, roses and ranunculus, with pops of blue and tied with blue ribbon. Beautiful!
Some of the prettiest details at The Barn are the permanent ones. I love all these shots of some of our cutest signs! These line the driveway to The Barn, and they never fail to make me smile.
The bridesmaids' dresses coordinated perfectly with the color palette. They wore classic, strapless blue dresses with some seriously cute boots! And you know us... we always love a bride/groom/bridal party in boots. ;)
This wedding's altar was dreamy! Simple tulle draping with gorgeous ivory and blue flower arrangements, as well as a unity candle with a beautiful arrangement.
Would you look at these tiny, precious flower girls?! Oh my goodness. They are so cute. Tiny girls in boots might be the cutest thing ever. And that little tutu is just too much for me to handle!
The highlight of this wedding was definitely the reception. The decor was gorgeous, and judging from all the photos, this reception was also super fun. First off, let's talk about this stunning cake from theCakePlace! Fondant ruffles made this cake feminine, unique and simply elegant.
The reception tables were rustic chic, with ivory linens, burlap runners, beautiful place settings with blue napkins, mason jars with striped blue straws, elegant chair ties, and wood discs and tall vases with stunning floral arrangements. While this reception was elegant and beautiful, it also had a fun, laidback vibe!
The groom's tractor cake was super cute and awesome!
For favors, this couple provided their guests with flip flops to dance in (brilliant!), as well as customized koozies. I love this second photo... The Barn is so pretty and magical at night!
This wedding was fabulous. Gorgeous, fun, and simultaneously elegant and laidback! Perfection.
