A few months back, I blogged about Pantone's Color of the Year, which is marsala. I'm probably reallllly late to this party, but did you know Pantone also releases a Fashion Color Report each spring and fall?! I just discovered that recently, and the spring/summer colors are so dreamy that I obviously had to share them here. The spring collection, which consists of 10 colors, is called En Plein Air. It's full of soft, cool colors, which take "a cue from nature."
Let's talk about my top three favorites! They are beveled glass, toasted almond and tangerine. Here's plenty of colorful wedding inspiration for summer! I sure hope we see some of these colors at The Barn this year.
This cool green isn't quite mint, but it's not really seafoam either. Whatever you want to call it, it's gorgeous and perfect for spring or summer weddings! Pantone calls it "fresh and clarifying, cool and refreshing."
This shade is a pretty neutral that would pair well with just about any color palette. I think it'd be especially lovely with lots of sparkles and metallics! "Timeless and versatile, Toasted Almond is an organic shade that speaks to authenticity and all that is natural," according to Pantone.
This shade of orange is not-too-bright, and I think it'd be beautiful with blush and lots of patterns. Pantone calls it "a juicy orange shade that is energizing, yet not jarring to the eye."
