A couple times each year, our team collaborates on a fabulous, extremely detailed, over-the-top styled shoot. This is their time to be totally creative, and their creations always blow me away! I've shared some really great styled shoots on the blog in the past, including Magical Meadow, Rustic Fiesta, our prom shoots, Chickin -N- Biskits and Country Girl Chic, Love is Pink and Hot Pink Kisses, Native American Heritage, our fall 2011 shoot.
Now let's talk about some of our very first styled shoots, which were styled by our summer interns way back in 2012, when we had just opened and hosted our first few weddings! One of these is girly, with a tea party vibe, while the other is Americana themed. They're so different, and that's why we love them!

Girly English Tea Party
This portion of the shoot was styled by Cat Singleton. She was inspired by vintage English tea parties and included lots of pink, girly details. There were pom poms, a chandelier, vintage cake stands and tea cups and books and china and linens (amazing!), glitter, the cutest skirt ever, pops of green and yellow, daisies and billy balls, apples, and so much prettiness. I'm really crazy about this shoot!
Karly Denkhaus styled this portion of the shoot, and it's all about red, white and blue, apple pie, and baseball. This shoot reminds me of those vintage patriotic pin-up photos, and it's also kinda reminiscent of The Notebook in a way, too. (Or maybe that's just me?!) Anyway, this shoot also included patriotic pom poms, a vintage quilt, baseball memorabilia, American flags, old school Coke bottles, Mason jars, hay bales, patriotic desserts and flowers and other details in red, white and blue.
Aren't y'all impressed?! Our interns do good work, y'all. They work incredibly hard no matter how hot/cold/humid/snowy it is (I've seen it firsthand), and they have such talents! I absolutely love seeing their styled shoots from year to year. Good job, ladies! xoxoxo
