So it's like 110 degrees outside where we live, and it feels like fall is FOREVER away... But in all reality, it's really just right around the corner. Fall is one of our busiest seasons for weddings at The Barn, so the next few weeks are going to fly by as our team prepares for all the fabulous weddings that will take place over the next few months! For the next several weeks, I want to share lots of inspiration for fall weddings, as well as what I hope we'll be seeing at The Barn this fall. What better place to start than with one of my favorite topics, bouquets and floral arrangements!
This fall, I hope we'll be seeing these things in our brides' gorgeous bouquets and flowers:
*Rich colors. Marsala! Navy! Burnt orange! Purple! Gold!
*Unexpected color combinations. A few I love: blush and marsala. blush and navy. orange and dusty blue. purple and orange.
*Beautiful texture, in the form of scabiosa pods, billy balls, thistle, brunia berries, curly willow, seeded eucalyptus, wheat, fall leaves, and a few really crazy ideas I love: feathers, berries or cotton!
*Interesting bouquet ties/wraps.
*Bouquets and arrangements with a natural, just-picked look. Fall weddings need rustic, undone looking bouquets... save neat, tidy bouquets for spring!
*And once again, messy, crazy, cascading greenery, and lots of it! I'm still not over it.
Here are some exceptionally pretty ideas that I'm totally in love with. Fall brides, take note!
