I love the wedding I get to share with y'all today! Cassie loves pink and glittery gold as much as I do... A girl after my own heart! ;) This wedding was incredibly sweet and intimate, with the prettiest feminine details and one of the most gorgeous bridal gowns we've ever laid eyes on. It also comes with a pretty crazy story...
The night before this couple's wedding, there was a bad storm out at The Barn, with intense winds that did some pretty bad damage to say the least. The bathrooms, bridal suite and our gorgeous bridge were taken out by downed trees. (Don't worry, they're fine now!) Luckily, this bride and groom are the most easygoing people ever, and they didn't freak out when their planner called to tell them their their outdoor wedding would have to be moved inside The Barn.
Shingleur Photography, one of our preferred vendors, did a beautiful job of capturing this magical wedding... You know a photographer is good when you can't see any downed trees/messes/ugly things in their photos, even though things were a bit dramatic that day! :)
Cassie and Kyle were married at The Barn at Twin Oaks Ranch on August 6, 2015. They chose their theme and colors based on previous Barn Weddings; Cassie said she had pinned a lot of our weddings already and was drawn to several of our weddings that had muted colors. They decided on pink and gold, with plenty of glitter, for their colors. Their decor was romantic and feminine, with a touch of whimsy.
Can we talk about this ridiculously gorgeous dress for a moment?! I mean, seriously... bridal gowns do not come prettier than this one. Cassie found this beauty at Danielle's Bridal, and we haven't stopped swooning over it. Her groom also looked handsome in casual khaki pants and a white shirt.
Their bridal party consisted of four cute kids! The girls' dresses also came from Danielle's Bridal, and the guys wore khaki pants and white shirts to match Kyle's. I love this look!
The bouquets and floral arrangements at this wedding were feminine, sweet and stunning! Cassie said they were "absolutely beautiful and smelled wonderful." They consisted of white hydrangeas, pink roses, baby's breath and dusty miller, which added a hint of green. The guys wore boutonnieres of pink roses, baby's breath and dusty miller.
Cassie and Kyle decided to do a first look before their ceremony, and the photos of those private moments they shared together are so romantic!
As I mentioned, things were a little bit crazy on the day of Cassie and Kyle's wedding, thanks to a storm that took out some trees and wreaked havoc on the bathrooms, bridal suite and bridge the night before. Cassie and Kyle were awesome about the whole thing, and our team worked their tails off to clean everything up before the bride, groom and their guests started to arrive!
"We were supposed to be married outside, but due to the storm, we had our wedding inside The Barn," Cassie said. "It turned out perfect. I was not worried at all after I got the phone call from Trisha the morning of my wedding day. I had complete faith that Trisha and Lesleigh would take care of everything. I was right. I knew they worked overtime to get everything cleaned up and decorate for the wedding. We had a complete change of plans and it turned out perfect!! I will always appreciate their hard work to make sure my day was perfect."
Their ceremony decor was stunning inside The Barn. They were married in front of a gold, glittery backdrop, with hanging lanterns and candles topped with flowers that matched their bouquets. The aisle was lined with logs and pink and white floral arrangements. Their ceremony was very intimate and sweet, with the love of their closest family and friends surrounding them.
After their beautiful ceremony, our team converted their ceremony area into a reception area. It was full of sweet, feminine, pink and gold details! Their table decor included pink tablecloths, chicken wire cloches, pink and white floral arrangements, baby's breath in jars, and candles. Their cake table was beautiful! A white and gold cake (with a cute pink ribbon!), surrounded by pink and white flowers under chicken wire cloches... the backdrop for the cake table was a set of vintage wooden doors. Cassie said the doors behind the cake table and the jars on her tables were "the two things I wanted and they were perfect."
The rest of the evening was spent celebrating with their loved ones! At the end of the night, they made their exit through a bunch of pretty sparklers and went off on a romantic honeymoon.
"We went to Calico Rock," Cassie said. "We rented a 3 bedroom cabin. We went trout fishing on the White River. It was beautiful and relaxing. We had a wonderful time."
I asked Cassie to let us know how we did throughout her wedding planning meetings and on her wedding day. This is what she said about us! "I cannot express how pleased I was with my wedding. Trisha and Lesleigh took pieces of everything I wanted and made my wedding perfect. I loved everything about it. It was so nice that I could relax and enjoy my day knowing that Trisha and Lesleigh were taking care of all the details."
Cassie and Kyle, thank you so much for letting us be a part of your best day ever! It was an honor! We wish y'all a lifetime full of love and happiness! xoxoxoxoxo
There are so many things I love about this wedding! Pink, gold and glitter. Her dress! Sweet details. And that altar. LOVE!
