Let's kick off the weekend talking about one of my favorite wedding-related topics: ceremony and aisle decor! I haven't shared ten of my favorite aisles in a hot minute, and we have had sooooo many ridiculously amazing ones since the last installment of Astounding Aisles. Our team really killed it with aisle decor in 2015, and I'm thrilled to see what they have in store for our brides in 2016! From intricate petal designs to super simple aisle decor, we do it all. Here are 10 aisles, in all different styles, that I L-O-V-E!
Have you ever seen a more colorful, fun, bold altar than Lindsey + Matt's?! Planning a wedding with a color scheme as bold as this one is always super fun for our team. (We love you, pink and gold, we truly do... But it sure is nice to mix things up a bit from time to time!) This aisle was full of details, and it was certainly one of our most unique. There were fun, bright, colorful details all over the place at this wedding! I really loved this couple's ceremony site entrance, altar, bright florals, and rustic reception tables.
Monica + Ryan's blush, gold and navy wedding had ALL the best details, including this stunning petal aisle. As much as I love a swirly petal design, I really don't think you can go wrong with a solid petal aisle; it's glamorous, classic, and it makes a huge statement. This wedding had pretty details everywhere you looked: a stunning sequined altar, the prettiest bouquets and florals EVER, glam reception tables with chevron runners, a gorgeous cake, and so, so much more. My personal favorite details of this wedding: Monica's bridal gown and the bridesmaids' mismatched pink, floor length dresses. This wedding was sorta EVERYTHING.
Emily + Blake's fall wedding was one of our most unique: their decor included chambray, chocolate brown, deer antlers, whiskey barrels, vintage books, and unique florals, with chambray colored flowers and protea (so fab!). We love weddings with unique themes and color palettes, so this aisle was extra special! Crates, logs, floral arrangements, lanterns and mason jars... this one sure was fun to look at!
Kassie + Adam's pink rustic glam wedding was another one that had impeccable details everywhere you looked. Their pink petal aisle + mason jars filled with sweet bouquets were the perfect details for their sweet, Southern ceremony. They looked fantastic with the rustic, antique wooden doors and windows at the entrance to their ceremony site! Other details from this wedding that can't be missed: Kassie's gown (the most gorgeous gown ever!), lush pink florals, the coolest escort card display, a cute ice cream bar, and rustic-glam perfection on their reception tables.
There was SO much eye candy at Amber + Matt's wedding! This red floral petal aisle with turquoise lanterns was incredibly bold, and we were crazy about it! And that sign... well, it's sorta the sweetest idea ever. This couple had bold details everywhere, including an altar that I'll never stop obsessing over, red and turquoise bouquets,a fun sweetheart table backdrop, and the most fab reception tables. I would never have thought to combine these colors for a wedding, but I'm glad this couple went with it. It turned out AWESOME.
Weddings inside The Barn are sometimes my very favorites, and Cassie + Kyle's intimate pink and gold ceremony was certainly high up on my list. When their wedding had to be moved inside The Barn due to a major storm that took place the night before their wedding, these two were totally laidback about it. And it turned out truly stunning. Their simple log + pink floral arrangement aisle combined with their sparkly gold altar backdrop (with hanging lanterns!) was just tooooo pretty.
Oh, how I love Alyssa + Matt's fun, colorful, summery wedding. These two wanted a wedding that fit their fun, laidback personalities, so they chose a red, yellow and blue color palette, and our team totally rocked their details. I've got major heart eyes for their aisle with logs and bold floral arrangements! Other fantastic details: Alyssa's gown (loveeee), the bridal bouquet, mismatched blue and yellow bridesmaids' dresses, a gorgeous floral altar, and a fun, colorful cake table. This wedding makes me long for summer!
I'm still not done obsessing over Jordon + Nick's cranberry and wheat fall wedding! I think our aisle is maybe it's prettiest when it's lined with crates. The wood discs, white mason jars, and bouquets with wheat and white roses made it even more beautiful! This wedding had so many unique details. You cannot miss their rustic chic reception tables and bouquets!
I love Mackenzie + Tyler's aisle for its simplicity. While the rest of their wedding was very glamorous and full of sparkly, gold details, their ceremony site was simply beautiful. Their aisle was lined with logs, greenery, a few flowers, and candles, and it lead to a simple, draped altar with a greenery garland. My favorite details from this wedding: their bouquets (seriously amazing!), the bridesmaids' infinity dresses, their cake table, and the combination of gold glitter + green garlands on their reception tables.
Tang + DJ had a statement-making red and white petal design, but they kept the rest of their aisle simple with buckets full of baby's breath leading to a simple lace altar. Doesn't this photo make you super pumped for summer?! These two had so many sweet details: daisies and baby's breath, a summery red, white and blue color palette, a fun cake, and a root beer float bar, just to name a few!
I hope y'all have a happy weekend!
