2016 Wedding Recap: Part Two

As our 2016 wedding season comes to a close, we're looking back on all the amazing weddings we got to plan this year. This year brought us some of the best couples ever, as well as some of the most gorgeous weddings ever, and we can't believe the year is just about over! While we're a little sad to see this year come to an end, we are SO thrilled for all of our 2017 weddings. It's going to be an unforgettable year at The Barn! Last week, I shared five of my personal favorites from 2016 (Tara + Casey, Holly + Caleb, Megan + Drew, Courtney + Matt, and Brandi + Rey). This week, let's look back at five of our spring weddings!

Jessica + James' wedding took place just as the blooms were really starting to show up out at The Barn this past spring... Their day was gorgeous and so romantic! We will never get over Jessica's amazing cascading bouquet, her pink and green bridesmaids' dresses, or their altar (swoon!). I also loved Jessica's gown, their petal pattern on their aisle, those gorgeous reception table details, and their classic cake. This one was truly timeless! Love, love, love.

Brittany + Skyler's wetlands-chic wedding (it's a thing, I promise) was one of our most unique of the year! These two came from Louisiana and brought the bayou with them. We LOVED that they chose a color palette that isn't typical of spring weddings - deep reds, raspberry and green. We also LOVED the details they brought from their home in Louisiana, including some gorgeous Spanish moss that we used throughout their florals and their reception decor! They had the most fun reception ever, as well as so many other gorgeous details that you must see!

Morgan + Wager's rustic-meets-gypsy-cowgirl elopement... The wedding that broke the internet! Seriously, we will NEVER forget this one. There were pallets, rusty tin, steer heads, hanging florals, a bright bouquet, and the most amazing cake table ever (like, EVER). There was even a teepee and a cowhide covered in rose petals! It was the perfect day for a cowboy and his gorgeous bride (who just so happens to have amazing taste!). This one is a must-see!

We never get tired of rustic chic weddings (that style is always perfect at The Barn!), and Abby + Trey's was just the prettiest. Their color palette was soft and sweet - blush, tan and shades of green. And their details were romantic and dreamy! My favorite details: their florals (classic and beautiful!), their burlap and lace altar, Abby's gorgeous bridal gown, and ALL of their pretty reception details!
