Ashley + Michael's Pink Rustic Chic Wedding

This wedding is a throwback from May 2013. (How insane that was three years ago!) This was one of the prettiest spring weddings ever. The flowers were so pretty, the bride and groom were fashionable and oh so in love, and the details were rustic chic perfection. This wedding was sweet and Southern and full of great details!

These photos, by Jamie Swetnam of Life as a Photo, are romantic and so, so beautiful. Y’all will love this one!

Ashley and Michael were married at The Barn at Twin Oaks Ranch on May 11, 2013. Their color palette included pale pink, with lace, burlap and lots of greenery. The theme was rustic-chic, a few antique details. SO much pretty at this wedding!

Ashley’s gown is still one of my favorites. It was very simple, full and stylish… and it had pockets! I love that she accessorized with pretty sandals and a glam bangle. What a fashionable, gorgeous bride!

Pink + gray is always such a pretty color combination for bridal parties! These bridesmaids' dresses are the cutest; I love how sweet and feminine they are, and the texture on the skirt is beautiful. This sweet little flower girl with her basket full of rose petals looks adorable, too! And gray is always a good look for guys. So handsome!

The bouquets and floral arrangements at this wedding were breathtaking! Ashley loves pink, succulents and baby's breath, so Ginger created gorgeous, huge arrangements that incorporated all three. There were pink roses and peonies, tons of succulents and greenery, and pops of baby's breath. Ashley's bouquet was tied with burlap and lace, and it also had five charms wrapped around it with photos of loved ones. I adore that idea! The bridesmaids carried baby's breath bouquets that were anything but boring! The boutonnieres also were succulents and baby's breath.

Ashley and Michael's ceremony was beautiful! The details were rustic-chic, dreamy and so romantic. Their altar had a lush, sheer drape tied back with two arrangements, and another arrangement in the center at the top. The aisle was lined with shepherd hooks with mason jars and flowers. There were more arrangements on wood discs and candles at the bases of the hooks. Their guestbook table had a huge, stunning floral arrangement.

Ashley and Michael each gave a rose to their mothers during the ceremony... What a sweet way to honor your mama!

Following their ceremony, the newlyweds had several portraits taken together as husband and wife. These are truly some of my favorite portraits from any of our weddings! These two are gorgeous together, and I love how these photos capture the rustic-chic theme of their wedding day.

The reception started with a cocktail hour on the lawn. The tables included ivory linens and burlap-wrapped mason jars full of baby's breath. They had an assigned seating plan with guests' names and table numbers written on antique windows that hung on the patio of The Barn. It was unique and fun, and perfect for the rustic theme!

The reception was also full of gorgeous, rustic-chic details. The tables included ivory linens, burlap runners, clear glassware with floral centerpieces, candles, mason jars, and ivory place settings with burlap and lace silverware holders. For dinner, they served a Southern meal to match their rustic theme: Southern fried chicken, pork tenderloin, mashed potatoes, green beans, mac and cheese, and rolls.

Ashley and Michael's collection, the Pearl Snaps Collection, included favors, and they chose to give their guests the cutest little burlap-wrapped succulents!

The rest of their reception included all the fun traditions: first dances, bouquet and garter toss, cake cutting, a great time with their loved ones, and a grand sparkler exit. I love how magical The Barn is at night! It really shows in these photos!

Ashley and Michael, thank you so much for choosing The Barn as your wedding venue! We LOVED your wedding, and we loved planning it with you! We wish y'all the best! xoxoxoxoxoxo
