If you're an avid Barn Blog reader, you're familiar with our 10 Barn Weddings series, in which we recap ten gorgeous, unique weddings from The Barn that all fit within a specific theme. Today's blog is the same concept, but it's all about elopements! Since we don't have as many elopements to choose from, I'm only recapping five at a time. But that sure doesn't mean this post will be lacking in prettiness and inspiration!
We loooove elopements, y'all! And apparently so do you, because they're one of the things we get asked about most frequently. We just booked two more of them for this fall! I blog about them pretty often, because they're so romantic and beautiful! We're not trying to toot our own horn, but our elopements always turn out pretty darn amazing. Our elopement collection is unique in the sense that the bride and groom don't have to do ANYTHING other than show up, say I do, eat some cake and go on their merry (and married) way! The only "planning" they do is telling us what colors and theme they like. That is literally it! Our team then gets busy creating an over-the-top, super creative, romantic, super detailed, completely STUNNING elopement for the bride and groom, as well as their officiant, photographer and up to 25 guests. You can read more about our elopement collection here, as well as 10 reasons to elope at The Barn. Here are FIVE of our gorgeous brides and grooms and their pretty elopement ceremonies. <3
Jamie + Mitch were one of our first couples to elope at The Barn, and they were such a sweet couple. Their little rustic chic elopement was just as sweet as they are! Jamie's garden rose bouquet was simple and lovely, and their adorable ruffle cake from TheCakePlace was the cutest cake ever. They wrote their own vows, which made their ceremony even more intimate and romantic. They had a simple burlap altar, and my personal favorite detail was Jamie's gorgeous bridal gown. The belt she wore was stunning!
Morgan + Wager's rustic-boho-cowgirl-chic elopement blew up the Internet, and for good reason! When Morgan told us she was marrying a cowboy and that she liked rustic, vintage details, especially steer heads, reclaimed wood and old tin, we knew this one was gonna be unforgettable. It was full of rustic yumminess, bright colors, and the most gorgeous macaron-topped cake you ever did see! They said I do in front of their pup, Mabel... The perfect little detail! :)
Amanda + Brad's shabby chic elopement was oh, so sweet and romantic. Their candlelit, vintage door altar was so dreamy, and the mint and blush details throughout their decor were just lovely. There were also floral-filled teacups and the loveliest cake. Oh, and ruffles for days! We LOVED the ruffles!
Speaking of dreamy altars, Brittany + Jason's is still one of the dreamiest, most swoon-worthy altars we've ever done! An all white, fabric draped altar with tons of candles and lanterns... It doesn't get more magical than getting married in front of something that looks like that! Their florals were purple and green and full of succulents. Such a beautiful, romantic elopement!
Sujey + Jeffrey's elopement was another one of those that went viral, and we weren't one bit surprised. These lovebirds requested bright colors and details inspired by the adorable Pixar movie Up. Yes, we're serious! There were about a bazillion colorful balloons in their decor, and it rocked our world! The altar, the reception decor, and even a big ol' pretty fringe balloon for their portraits! Their florals were also bold and colorful, and I'm still crying over the cuteness of their little naked cakes!
Elopements, y'all. There's a lot to love about them! We hope y'all have a wonderful, fun, holiday weekend filled with fireworks, cook outs, and a bunch of red, white and blue. Be safe out there!
