Ohhhh, how I adore this timeless, classic, GORGEOUS wedding I get to share with y'all today! This wedding was super special, because this sweet couple decided to get married at a historic church in Dardanelle. Our team decorated the church, and although it was totally different than anything we do out at The Barn, it couldn't have been prettier! Seriously, SO much pretty in this wedding!
All the pretty details were captured by one of our favorites, Shingleur Photography. As always, they photographed everything perfectly... These are some of the dreamiest photos ever!
Morgan and Tyler were married at Dardanelle First United Methodist Church on June 25, 2016. Their wedding was truly timeless, classic and breathtaking. They chose a color palette of silver, white and green, with white bouquets and loads of greenery. "It was a dream come true," Morgan said. "Absolutely gorgeous."
We can't express how much we LOVE wedding videography, especially when the video is as beautiful and emotional as this one. The Create Team captured all the details, emotions and big moments of Morgan and Tyler's wedding day.
Morgan, Tyler and their bridal party were stunning... Their classic attire fit the timeless theme of the wedding. Morgan's bridal gown came from She Said Yes, and oh, was it lovely! I love the straps and the back, as well as the classic, flattering silhouette. And her veil and swoon-worthy shoes! So pretty.
Morgan's silver bridesmaids' dresses also came from She Said Yes. The cut of these dresses was fabulous! Tyler and his groomsmen wore black tuxes, with silver ties (and a bow tie for Tyler!). LOVE this classic look!
The florals for this wedding were just as timeless as all the other details! Morgan chose all white flowers with tons of greenery. "To add some uniqueness to my bouquet, we had a piece of my mom's lace from her dress wrapped around it," Morgan said. What a special detail!
Before their ceremony at the church, Morgan and Tyler had their first look at The Barn. And my goodness, was it romantic and dreamy! Morgan said it was one moment from their wedding day that she will always remember. The Shingleurs captured this sweet moment beautifully, as well as some stunning portraits of these two lovebirds!
Morgan and Tyler's wedding ceremony was seriously one of the prettiest ceremonies ever. Our team loved decorating this historic church in our town, and it couldn't have been more lovely! It was super special for Morgan and Tyler, because this church was actually where Tyler grew up going. "He had several of his family members get married at the church, so we wanted to keep the tradition," Morgan said.
The decor at the church was simple, classic and stunning. There was greenery everywhere, even on the church doors and along the railings up to the church. There was a beautiful calligraphy welcome sign (also with greenery!), a few white flowers, and white ribbon. The aisle was Morgan's favorite detail of the day, and it's easy to see why! Their monogrammed aisle runner was a showstopper, and the white florals and greenery hanging from the pews was absolutely gorgeous! There were also two classic green and white floral arrangements at the altar. "We loved the way it looked at the church," Morgan said.
For their guestbook, Morgan and Tyler asked their guests to sign a Bible. Their ring bearer also carried a Bible with Morgan's grandma's rings down the aisle. What a sweet, beautiful ceremony this was!
Morgan and Tyler's last name is Balloun, so it only made sense to have a balloon exit when they left the church! ;) They also rode away on a carriage drawn by a unicorn. No, really. Look at those hooves! Morgan said the carriage ride was something she would never forget. "That was a moment for us just to relax and sink it all in," she said. So romantic!
After the ceremony, Morgan, Tyler and their guests headed out to The Barn for a gorgeous reception! Their reception tables were elegant and classic, with white linens, silver runners, and white and green florals. Their sweetheart table had a sparkly, silver backdrop, and white florals with lots of gorgeous greenery! Our signature curtains at The Barn's entrance were even trimmed with a green garland... Love this look!
"Our favorite thing about The Barn was the beautiful decorations," Morgan said. "It was so exciting to get to go in together before anyone else and get to go around and look at all the wonderful details. Absolutely stunning!"
Morgan and Tyler's first portraits together as newlyweds are GORGEOUSSSSS. There are no words.
Morgan and Tyler shared their first dance and had the best time with their loved ones before heading off on a truly epic honeymoon. "We went to Kauai, Hawaii," Morgan said. "We went on an 8 mile hike (we thought it was supposed to only be 2 so we hiked it with no water or food... The rest of the week, we were overly prepared). We also got to snorkel and go to a beautiful luau. It was gorgeous."
I asked Morgan to let us know how we did, and here's what she had to say! "You guys did amazing. It was so much fun getting to work with you guys. We are sad it's over. Victoria made our day as stress-free as possible. She was on point with everything and made sure we stayed right on schedule. Lesleigh was so creative and fun to work with. All of the ladies at The Barn are truly amazing people."
Morgan and Tyler, thank you so much for choosing The Barn as your wedding venue! We LOVED your gorgeous, timeless, unique wedding! We wish y'all the best! xoxoxoxoxoxo
