Megan + Drew's Bright, Rustic Summer Wedding

Oh, how I love a bright, colorful, rustic chic summer wedding! Is there anything better?! This couple wanted a wedding that was as fun as they are, and that's what they got! It was full of bold colors, sweet details, and bright, beautiful florals. Everything a summer wedding should be! Also, I've probably never seen a couple laugh as much on their wedding day as these two... and that is very much a good thing! They are the sweetest, most fun couple, and the love they share is obvious!

These photos are by Andrea Clark Photography, and she did the most beautiful job of capturing every part of Megan and Drew's wedding day! I seriously LOVED every single one of the photos she took, and it was so hard to narrow them down for this post... So I hope you're prepared to see a whoooole bunch of pictures. ;) Get ready for loads of yummy COLOR!

Megan and Drew were married at The Barn at Twin Oaks Ranch on June 4, 2016. "My color scheme was what you could call punch colors," Megan said. "I wanted something bright and fun, but still simple and classy! That's exactly what I told The Barn girls and they made it happen. I wanted a bright, rustic summer wedding and that's exactly what I got."

Megan's bridal gown, which was from Low's Bridal, was unbelievably gorgeous! Y'all, this is seriously one of my favorite bridal gowns I've seen, EVER. It had a full blush skirt (gasp!), a belt that gave it the perfect touch of bling, a stunning neckline, and the top was the most beautiful lace everrrr. It buttoned up the back and had a beautiful train. So much swoonage!!! My goodness. Megan, you are the most stunning bride ever!

Megan's bridesmaids' dresses came from Amazon. Yes, that Amazon! "I wanted to save my girls a little money," Megan said. What an awesome friend/bride! While purchasing bridesmaids' dresses online can be a little iffy sometimes, these dresses couldn't have been more gorgeous! The one-shoulder style was flattering on each bridesmaid, and the punchy shades of pink were so fun! These girls look like they're a good time. ;) And I LOVE their getting ready robes!

Drew and his groomsmen wore classic khaki pants and vests with white shirts and ties. Their bright boutonnieres were the perfect pop of color!

The bright, bold, elegant florals at this wedding were absolutely stunning! Our floral designer Ginger blows me away with all of her creations, but THESE are really something else. When I asked Megan what her favorite wedding detail was, she said, "Ohhhh do I have to pick just one?! I absolutely LOVED our flowers. They were just what I had always pictured for my wedding... bright but simple, yet very elegant!"

"My bouquets were breathtaking!" Megan said. "They were bright and fun, but not overwhelming. With a mixture of punch pink peonies, bright orange protea pincushions, and beautiful soft green succulents, with a mixture of other flowers."

Megan and Drew had the sweetest, laughiest (that's not even a word, but you'll see what I mean!) first look before their ceremony. These photos are adorable, and I love them extra because they show off more of Megan's amazing dress! ;) Seriously though, these two are precious.

It was so amazing! The Decor, Flowers, Cake, Food and DJ were all EXCELLENT!! Everything turned out GORGEOUS!! I was so happy everything stayed true to what we had discussed in my planning meetings. It was everything I had ever dreamed of.

Megan and Drew's ceremony decor was to die for! It was rustic and colorful, and there were the most beautiful florals. Their altar was draped with burlap and finished off with THE most beautiful, bright floral arrangements ever. Their aisle was lined with blue mason jars on shepherds hooks, filled with small, bold floral bouquets. They had another beautiful arrangement with their unity candle and on their guestbook table. Their guestbook was a wooden Arkansas cut-out for guests to sign, and they had the cutest handwritten sign, too! "We incorporated personalized wedding hand fans, because it was such a hot June day," Megan said. The fans were adorable!

"I never believed people when they said take it all in, because it will all be over in the blink of an eye, but they are right!" Megan said. Megan and Drew's ceremony was a dream. Full of love and laughter, and surrounded by their dearest friends and family. Oh, and they had the cutest ring bearer and flower girl, too!

Megan and Drew's reception was just as fun, bright and rustic chic as their ceremony. Their tables included bright blue tablecloths, hot pink runners, simply elegant place settings with custom menu cards, bold florals in mercury glass vases and mason jars, and candles. They had a fun, cheery sweetheart table, with burlap and punch-colored pinwheels as the backdrop. They also had one very special reception detail: a memory board filled with photos of loved ones they have lost.

"One memory I will never forget is the first time Cindy let my husband and I in The Barn for the first time after the ceremony," Megan said. "Just the two of us hand in hand, taking everything in. Being able to walk around and see how beautiful The Barn looked. It was truly gorgeous and such a special moment!"

Another one of Megan's favorite details of the day was her cake, made by theCakePlace! "Not only did it turn out gorgeous, but it tasted AMAZING!" she said. "And for a girl who loves cake, that was an important detail for me." Drew's groom's cake was a cute little Razorback. Their Razorback-themed groom's cake table just makes me want to yell Woo Pig Sooie! ;)

Megan and Drew's favors were just as yummy as their cakes! "We did my grandmother's homemade pomegranate jelly," Megan said. "She made 150 jelly jars and drove them from Sacramento, California, all the way to Arkansas just for our wedding. I wanted to do something more personal, so the jelly jars were perfect for us." They were monogrammed and SO adorable! Truly the perfect favor for a rustic chic wedding!

The rest of Megan and Drew's wedding was full of all the fun wedding traditions. A first dance, father-daughter dance, mother-son dance, garter and bouquet tosses, a cake cutting, and a whole bunch of dancing with their favorite folks!

"My favorite thing about getting married at The Barn was how helpful all The Barn girls were to me!" Megan said. "They made my wedding planning as stress free as possible and that is exactly what I needed! It's so hard for me to put things together and make choices when it comes to anything, much less planning a wedding! From flowers to food, they helped me tackle it all and in such an easy, stress free way. They paid attention to everything I said I wanted and were always there to answer my questions. I couldn't be more thankful for the girls at The Barn!"

And now for the most dreamy photos from Megan and Drew's wedding day... Swoon, swoon, SWOON!

That dress was made for spinning!

After their sparkler getaway, the newlyweds left for an unforgettable honeymoon! "We went to St. James Club in Morgan Bay, St. Lucia!" Megan said. "It was our first time out of the country together, so we were a little nervous, but it turned out to be so amazing. We spent 6 days in the sand and sun! We snorkeled, took mud baths in a volcano, and enjoyed many pina coladas. We had such a great trip, I will admit it was hard to come back home."

"I would recommend The Barn at Twin Oaks to any of my family or friends getting married," Megan said. "The Barn girls go above and beyond to make sure you get the wedding you want, and for that they are truly amazing. I couldn't have been happier with how our wedding turned out and it is a memory that I will cherish forever!!"

Megan and Drew, thank you so much for choosing The Barn as your wedding venue! We were IN LOVE with your fun, bright, beautiful wedding! It was unforgettable! We wish y'all a lifetime full of love and adventures. xoxoxoxoxoxoxo
