2016 has been full of the most fun weddings at The Barn! We've had the most fun couples, details and color palettes, and this wedding was one of the best of all. April and Isaac are such a great couple, and their details were sweet and so very yummy! They asked their entire bridal party to wear Converses, and I think that says a lot about what a fun couple they are!
These photos, by Jenna Lane Photography, perfectly capture April and Isaac's love for each other, as well as all the great details! Enjoy!
April and Isaac were married at The Barn at Twin Oaks Ranch on June 11, 2016. Their color palette included pink and gray. April said they chose their color scheme because it was subtle, but it was also gorgeous! Their details were mostly rustic, with a few glam touches mixed in. This wedding had a casual, laid-back vibe that was perfect for such a fun couple!
April's bridal gown came from Couture Bridal, and woooow, was it fab! It was a trumpet-style gown, with beautiful ruching through the fitted top of the dress. The detailing at the bust and hips made it extra special, and the train was beautiful. She wore pink Converse and the cutest pink and gray garters! April was such a stunning bride... that gown was made for her!
April's bridesmaids wore strapless, knee-length gray dresses (from David's Bridal) with just enough of a ruffle to make them super fun and flirty! The groom and his guys wore gray pants and ties, pink shirts, and matching socks (love!). The kids in the bridal party, which included April's son and Isaac's daughter, were seriously the cutest EVER. I cannot get over their little outfits! As I mentioned before, the entire bridal party wore Chuck Taylors, and they couldn't have looked more amazing! P.S. These groomsmen? Clearly a fun group of guys. ;)
April's bouquets and florals were sweet and pretty in pink! They included pink and white flowers (peonies! roses! dahlias! oh my!) and succulents. The bridesmaids carried smaller versions of April's bouquet. The guys wore pink rose bouts! Y'all, how great are these?! The perfect pink bouquets, if you ask me!
April and Isaac's ceremony details were rustic-meets-glam. Their altar included a sequined drape with stunning florals on each side. The aisle was lined with wire sconces filled with flowers. They had a wooden guestbook alternative for their guests to sign, as well as pink and gray sand for a unity sand ceremony. That altar! It was unforgettable.
April and Isaac's ceremony was not only the uniting of two people, but of their individual families as well. April said one of the most important parts of their big day was making sure their children (her son and his daughter) were involved in the decisions and felt like they were a part of everything.
Another special detail: April wore both of her late grandmas' wedding bands. "It made me feel like they were there with me," she said. What a special detail! And what a sweet, perfect ceremony for these two lovebirds and their precious, adorable kiddos!
The kids at this wedding were seriously the cutest everrrr. Those heart shaped sunnies! I just can't deal with the cuteness.
April and Isaac chose not to have a first look, so they took all their portraits after the ceremony. April said two of the most unforgettable moments of the day for her: "the way my husband looked at me and how happy we were." Isaac clearly adores his lady, and their happiness is obvious! I've said it a thousand times: You are never prettier than you are right after you say I do to the one you love! That newlywed glow, y'all. It's legit. These two are SO pretty, and The Barn and all the land around it looks so magical! It doesn't get more romantic than this!
April and Isaac's reception was rustic, full of pink, and so very pretty. Their tables had gray linens, burlap runners, wood discs, candles, mason jars and wire sconces filled with pink and white flowers, and simple white place settings with pink napkins. The game lawn was all decked out in rustic chic fabulousness for their cocktail hour! They also had a fun kids' table, filled with candy and fun activities for the little ones.
I asked April her favorite detail, and she said, "It's hard to pick just one. Everything was amazing and perfect." But she said her favorite thing about getting married at The Barn was not having to worry or stress about anything!
April and Isaac sent their guests home with these cute cups!
Two of April's favorite moments from the day: her and Isaac's first dance as husband and wife, and her father-daughter dance with her dad! The rest of the reception included all of the fun traditions, toasts, and an unforgettable night with their loved ones!
After their wedding, April and Isaac headed off to Orange Beach, Alabama, for a week full of relaxation and beach time. The perfect honeymoon!
April and Isaac, y'all are awesome, and we loved getting to plan your big day with you! We wish you two a lifetime full of love and laughter! xoxoxoxoxoxo
