Ali + Lee's Intimate Fall Elopement

Elopements are the BEST, and this pretty fall elopement was intimate, gorgeous and romantic! Ali and Lee wanted a smaller, more casual wedding, so they started out with our elopement collection and customized it to create the perfect day. This sweet bride said she had dreamed of getting married at The Barn since high school, which totally melted my heart! She and her love wanted a laid back wedding, and it was so fitting for them. The details were casual but elegant, and it couldn't have been a more gorgeous late fall day!

Shingleur Photography, one of our very favorite photographers, did a MAGICAL job on this wedding. Such romantic, gorgeous, dreamy photos! You guys will loveeee this one!

Ali and Lee were married at The Barn at Twin Oaks Ranch on November 18, 2016. Their color palette was so pretty... navy, blush and cream, with a little bit of taupe! "There was no theme in particular," Ali said. "I just wanted something that was as laid back as my husband and I are." Their details were elegant and gorgeous, but also simple and casual.

Ali's bridal gown came from Low's Bridal... I always LOVE a dress with sleeves, and this one was ideal for a late fall wedding! It was timeless, and the lace sheer lace neckline and sleeves were gorgeous. She accessorized with a traditional veil and the prettiest belt.

One of Ali's favorite moments of the day was the time she spent getting ready in the bridal suite with her mom, grandmother and aunts. "They shared lots of advice before the wedding!" she said.

Ali and Lee's bridal party was made up of a man of honor and a best man. (We love small bridal parties (or no bridal parties), by the way!) The guys all wore super handsome navy Calvin Klein suits with pink ties (or a fun bow tie, in the case of Ali's man of honor!). This classic look is perfection!

Ali's favorite details from her wedding day were all the flowers! "I'm obsessed with flowers," she said. "My bouquet was amazing!" Her bouquet and florals included pink dahlias, garden roses and pink stock. They were sweet, feminine and pretty!

"I had charms on my bouquet that had a picture of my Grandfather Carroll and I, and in the other frame there was my Great-Grandmother's wedding photo from when she was 14," Ali said. "She recently passed away, and I missed both of them very much that day."

Ali and Lee shared a first look before their ceremony, which was such a sweet moment! "I gifted Lee a watch that I had engraved," Ali said. "It was engraved with, 'First Love, Last Love, Only Love' with our wedding date and my name." These two are precious!

In fact, Ali was lucky enough to have TWO first looks on her wedding day! "The wedding was a blur, but I will always remember my first look with Lee and my Dad," she said. "Every bride should always remember to do a first look with their dad if they are able. It was very special to me."

The Shingleurs always take the best wedding portraits, and these are to die for! SO romantic and dreamy, you guys! What a gorgeous couple. <3

I have dreamed of having my wedding at the Barn since I was in high school. Lee and I have been dating for 8 years, so I have had this wedding planned in my head for a while! The Barn went above and beyond for me, and made the process so easy. Everything was beautiful, and the way I have always imagined it to be!

Ali and Lee's ceremony decor was minimalist, but gorgeous! Our ceremony area is stunning in the fall, and it truly doesn't need much to look spectacular. Their altar was draped with taupe fabric and had greenery and blush pink flowers cascading down the sides. Their altar was lined with shepherds hooks with mason jars filled with simple floral arrangements. They had a simply pretty little guestbook table with a cute tree guestbook alternative.

Ali and Lee's ceremony was intimate and magical. They were surrounded by their loved ones, and it was such a sweet little ceremony!

Our elopement collection includes a gorgeous cake and a few reception details, and Ali and Lee customized their wedding package to include dinner for their guests, as well. Their table details were simple and sweet, with taupe tablecloths, navy runners, gold candlesticks and small pink floral arrangements. It was understated, but it couldn't have been prettier!

Their cake was also simple, but it was one of my favorite cakes from last year! The pink flowers and rustic wood cake stand are so perfect.

Ali and Lee shared their first dance as husband and wife and also had a fun sparkler grand exit before their wedding day was over. They haven't yet gone on a honeymoon, but Ali said they plan to next summer!

As always, we asked Ali to give us a little bit of feedback about her experience with The Barn. "They always answered in a timely manner and were always organized," she said. "The day of the wedding, they treated me like a princess and kept everything in order! I feel like I made the best decision ever having our wedding at The Barn!'

Ali and Lee, y'all are the sweetest! We LOVED your beautiful, romantic wedding, and we're so thankful you let us plan it with you! We wish y'all the best! xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo
