This wedding is extra amazing because our team pulled it off in less than 30 days! Marisa called us one day while she was driving through Dallas, and she asked if we could plan a wedding in just three weeks. HECK YEAH, we said! Marisa and Pete planned their wedding long-distance (from all the way in West Monroe, Louisiana), and their day is proof that our team can make any dream wedding happen on a major time crunch, and without ever meeting a couple until their big day! This wedding was beautiful and intimate, with so many charming, unique details and gorgeous florals. Shingleur Photography captured this wedding so perfectly!
Marisa and Pete were married at The Barn at Twin Oaks Ranch back in the early fall of 2015. Their color palette was full of pale blue and gold, and they used deer antlers throughout their decor.
Marisa's bouquet was one of the most unique we've ever done! We LOVED the beautiful colors, all the gorgeous texture, and the deer shed that she included - she found it on her first hunt with Pete, which was such a special detail! The gold deer head was on their altar, and we love how they used deer heads and antlers throughout all of their details! And how great are these boutonnieres?! I'm loving that little pinecone.
Marisa's dress was perfection, from the silhouette to the neckline and the train to the lace and subtle beading. And this lady has amazing hair! I'm not sure if we've ever seen a more stunning bride than Marisa!
Marisa and Pete's first look was super sweet and romantic. Their joy was contagious! And, as always, these photos by the Shingleurs are flawless. <3
Marisa and Pete's ceremony details were gorgeous! Their aisle was lined with logs topped with florals that matched Marisa's bouquet (complete with more deer antlers!), as well as lanterns. Their altar included a sheer white drape, amazing florals and greenery, and that pretty, gold deer head! Their guestbook table was full of cute details, too.
The Barn looks amazing in pale blue and gold! Marisa and Pete's reception was elegant, romantic and a little bit whimsical. Their tables included printed pale blue tablecloths (we LOVE prints used in wedding decor!), gold place settings with navy napkins, gold candlesticks and bottles, gorgeous flowers, and more deer antlers, of course! I love how detailed their tables were, right down to the little gold striped straws. Oh, and take a peek at that menu... Our food is GOOD, y'all.
Perhaps the sweetest detail of Marisa and Pete's big day was this little cake! It started out as a super simple white cake, and our team added florals that coordinated with all of the other arrangements and that adorable, glittery gold arrow! Cutest cake EVER.
Marisa and Pete, we absolutely loved planning your wedding with you! Thank you so much for that phone call only three weeks before your wedding date. ;) We wish y'all the best! xoxoxoxoxoxo
