Katelyn + Richard's Glamorous Blush & Navy Elopement

It sure is feeling like winter in our neck of the woods all of a sudden, but this gorgeous August elopement has us feeling all the warmth! This wedding will always be memorable for us, because it was the day we debuted a brand new altar! There were many details to love, including the prettiest pink florals, a breathtaking bride, a gorgeous ceremony set up in front of The Barn, and so much more. One of our favorites, Tryston Hines, photographed this wedding… as always, we are swooning over her photos!

Katelyn and Richard were married at The Barn at Twin Oaks Ranch on August 18, 2018. Their colors were blush and navy, and their details were glam meets rustic. “I am a very bling person, and The Barn made something unique just for me,” Katelyn said.

Katelyn’s florals were feminine and gorgeous. They were full of blush and ivory roses, astilbe, greenery and a few pops of navy from blue thistle and the prettiest berries. “My bouquets were beautiful,” Katelyn said. “They were exactly how I wanted.” Katelyn carried a photo of her mother on a charm on her bouquet, which she said was one of her favorite details. Her mom recently passed away, and this was such a special way to honor her on Katelyn’s big day.

Katelyn was the most stunning bride. We were head over heels in love with her timeless dress, which was from David’s Bridal, but our absolute favorite part of her bridal look was her incredible veil! It was trimmed in the most beautiful lace, and it totally made her look. We also loved her sparkly accessories.

We are SWOONING over this ring shot! What a gorgeous, unique ring this lady is so lucky to wear!

Katelyn’s bridesmaids wore long navy dresses, also from David’s Bridal, and the guys wore classic black suits. There were some seriously cute kiddos in this bridal party as well. Katelyn also included her pup, Arabella, in her wedding party… isn’t this the cutest, fanciest dog ever?! She was wedding ready in her blush outfit and navy bow! We can’t even handle this!

Katelyn and Richard had a very sweet, intimate first look before their ceremony. These photos are just the sweetest. One of the best parts of our job is seeing how much our couples adore one another… it gets us in our feels every time!

I loved my wedding... They did an awesome job!! I highly recommend the Twin Oaks team!
— Katelyn

Katelyn and Richard tied the knot on the lawn in front of The Barn. Our team built a custom hexagon altar just for Katelyn and Richard’s ceremony, which we then draped in a glittery gold fabric and finished with a few pink floral arrangements. Glamorous meets rustic has never been prettier! Their aisle included a few small floral arrangements in mason jars, and their guestbook table had pink florals and a touch of bling, too.

Katelyn and Richard exchanged their vows in an intimate ceremony with their closest family and friends in attendance. It was one of the most gorgeous days of the summer… the perfect day for such a sweet celebration of love!

They had a small reception with a cake cutting inside The Barn. Their tiny cake, from Kneading Hands Bakery, was the CUTEST. The gold, glittery “love” cake topper and pretty florals made this cake so special and sweet. It sat on top of a vintage barrel and some gold sequined fabric, which was the perfect combination of glam and rustic. We keep our elopement receptions super simple, so the rest of The Barn had a few cocktail tables with navy tablecloths and small floral arrangements. “I loved The Barn,” Katelyn said. “It was absolutely gorgeous!”

The most memorable moment of the day for Katelyn came during the reception. “I’ll always remember how my husband looked at me during the first dance,” she said. “It was unexplainable!”

Katelyn and Richard, we LOVED planning your elopement with you! We adored every gorgeous detail! Congratulations and best wishes! xoxo

Beth + Christian's Romantic Purple Wedding

I’m so excited to start sharing our fall 2018 weddings with y’all! This was the first one, and it was romantic, dreamy and perfect. It rained on Beth and Christian’s wedding day, so their ceremony had to be moved indoors, and honestly… that made it more magical and gorgeous than ever! They had a sweet, intimate ceremony underneath the twinkling chandeliers inside The Barn, and it was the most romantic thing we could have imagined. We adore these photos by Kayleigh Ross Photography, and we hope y’all love this wedding as much as we did!

Photographer: Kayleigh Ross Photography | Venue, Coordination, Design, Florals: The Barn at Twin Oaks Ranch | Makeup: Makeup by Kurstee | Bridal Gown: Low’s Bridal | Bridesmaid’s Dress: Lulus | Cake: Kneading Hands Bakery

Beth and Christian were married at The Barn at Twin Oaks Ranch on September 23, 2018. Their color palette was the prettiest combination of purple, dusty greens, gray and silver. Their details were beautiful, romantic, elegant and timeless. There were a few rustic touches, too, and they all created the most magical wedding.

Beth’s bouquets and floral arrangements were stunning! Carnations, mums, the most out-of-this-world dahlias, roses, succulents and greenery made the prettiest purple bouquets ever!

The sweetest purple flower crowns for two adorable flower girls!

We were so in love with Beth’s bridal gown from Low’s Bridal. The silhouette was gorgeous on her, and the stunning detail on this dress was insane. We loved the romantic hairstyle she chose and the sixpence she wore on her sparkly Kate Spade sneakers! She was such a joyful, glowy bride!

Beth’s maid of honor wore a beautiful, romantic dress in the prettiest shade of purple from Lulus. Christian looked so handsome in a classic black suit, and his best man wore navy and a purple tie. We really love tiny bridal parties, and this one was just pretty.

Beth’s favorite detail of the day was their amazing custom altar, which included white and gray drapes and tons of gorgeous purple florals. “Lesleigh did an AMAZING job turning my Pinterest idea into reality,” she said. “It couldn’t have been more perfect if she tried.”

She and Christian had planned to exchange their vows outside, but rainy weather pushed their ceremony indoors. And it truly couldn’t have been more beautiful or romantic! The rain let up long enough for them to have a few photos together outside though, and they are some of my favorite photos of this day!

My favorite part about getting married at The Barn is how accommodating they are to whatever you want. It was raining that day so the ceremony was moved inside. Once everything was almost over, I requested that the altar be moved outside to have pictures taken with it. Without any questions asked, it was moved outside for me which was no easy feat.
— Beth

Sigh. So, so pretty out here, even on a dreary day!

Our team moved their beautiful altar back inside The Barn and placed it in the middle of the dance floor, with one of our gorgeous chandeliers lowered so it would hang in the middle of the altar.

“When I walked around the corner of The Barn and saw the inside for the first time with the decorations, I remember being in awe at how stunning everything turned out,” Beth said. “I was blown away at how gorgeous it looked and that it was MY wedding that looked this beautiful. Then of course I see my husband who was tearing up as he saw me for the first time that day. It was a moment that I’ll never forget.”

Beth and Christian’s ceremony was intimate and sweet. They were surrounded by their family and closest friends. And it was seriously the most romantic, dreamiest ceremony ever!

Everything was magical. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. Everything I hoped and dreamed for and then more.
— Beth

Beth and Christian had an adorable naked cake (with a delicious chocolate drizzle), topped with pretty purple flowers. Their cake table was elegant and a little bit rustic, with a purple tablecloth and a rustic wood door backdrop. They brought custom champagne glasses and an adorable personalized cake server set. We loved those little details!

The newlyweds haven’t gone on their honeymoon just yet, but they plan to go to St. Thomas in December!

I asked Beth to write us a review based on her experience, and these are the sweet words she said. “Amazing job. Anything I wanted or requested was taken care of. Best experience ever and would recommend to anyone thinking of eloping or having a wedding here period.”

Beth and Christian, your wedding day was so dreamy and perfect! We are so glad we got to plan it with you! We wish y’all the best, and have a great time in St. Thomas! xoxo

Morgan + Hadley's Western Ranch Wedding

When this sweet couple from Oklahoma told us they wanted western-inspired, super rustic details for their elopement, we were thrilled! You'd think a rustic venue like The Barn would have lots of western, ranch-styled weddings, but that really isn't the case. We pulled out allll the hay bales, horseshoes, tooled leather details, burlap, pallets, cotton bolls, shotgun shell boutonnieres... ALL the necessary items for a true ranch-styled wedding! Kelly Glaze Photography captured every detail from this wedding so perfectly... she is quickly becoming one of our faves!

Photographer: Kelly Glaze Photography | Venue, Coordination, Design, Florals: The Barn at Twin Oaks Ranch | Hair & Makeup: Dawn Richardson | Bridal Gown: David's Bridal | Bridesmaids' Dresses: David's Bridal | Cake: Kneading Hands Bakery | Leather Bouquet Wrap: Shaylee Wallace from Ramblin Ranch Girl Designs

Morgan and Hadley were married at The Barn at Twin Oaks Ranch on June 28, 2018. Their western, ranch-styled theme fit flawlessly with our rustic venue and its surroundings. Their color palette was a gorgeous combination of blush, navy, mauve and champagne. "We didn’t really have a plan for the color scheme, it just kind of worked out with what looked best on the bridesmaids and groomsmen," Morgan said. "We truly wanted everyone to feel comfortable on our special day." Easygoing brides like Morgan are the best!

Morgan's bouquets and florals were ridiculously good, y'all. "Lesleigh did a PHENOMENAL job on the bouquets," she said. "I was absolutely blown away by all of the detail she put into them." They were full of pink and mauve peonies and roses, a little bit of blue thistle, touches of greenery, and a handful of cotton bolls, which really made these bouquets over-the-top amazing.

"I had a sweet friend of mine, Shaylee Wallace, hand tool a bouquet wrap for my bridal bouquet and it truly added such a sweet touch," Morgan said. This special detail made her bridal bouquet unique, unforgettable and truly extraordinary!

Morgan's pretty dress came from David's Bridal, and we are swooning over every detail - the simple silhouette, gorgeous lace, flattering neckline, fun sash, and her veil with the sweetest scalloped edges. "I wore my favorite pair of authentic turquoise earrings and my cowboy boots to complete my wedding dress," Morgan said. This beautiful bride is the real deal, y'all! Every western bride needs a piece of turquoise and a great pair of boots!

Blush pink, long bridesmaids dresses never, ever get old, and these from David's Bridal were SO pretty. These girls were elegant and fun, and they also kept things country with some sweet boots on their feet! The guys wore blue jeans, light blue button-ups, boots, and shotgun shell boutonnieres. The perfect look for a western wedding!

Morgan and Hadley shared a first look before their ceremony, and it was truly the most precious thing ever. Hadley was so happy to see his beautiful bride, and we can't get over how these two look at each other!

Our wedding day was everything I’ve ever dreamed of and so much more... Honestly we had the PERFECT day at The Barn. Every single detail was so unique and special. Lesleigh is amazing to work with and she truly makes your day so special.
— Morgan

Morgan and Hadley tied the knot out on the lawn in front of The Barn, and it was so full of western goodness. Their altar was made of white-washed pallets, rusty tin and a burlap drape. There were hay bales, a cowhide rug, horseshoes, pink florals and burlap-wrapped mason jars. My favorite detail was the monogrammed hay bale! Their ranch-inspired details fit so perfectly into the surroundings of the Twin Oaks Ranch! There has never been a more perfect wedding for this place!

"There’s almost too many favorite details to pick, but I loved the wagon that Lesleigh decorated for our son to get pulled down in before I walked down the aisle," Morgan said. "It was the perfect touch! Also the chair that she incorporated for my late grandmother who passed the week before. To have her honored on the front row was so special for us."

Seriously though. This wagon! So so cute.

Happiest bride ever! This lady was glowing. <3

The Twin Oaks team was amazing from day one. Lesleigh was so easy to talk to and get ahold of always. She truly listened and incorporated all of our ideas and wants, and on the day of she was a complete lifesaver, so so helpful. The Barn at Twin Oaks Ranch is definitely the place to get married at!
— Morgan

Our elopement collections include a cake cutting, and we made sure Morgan and Hadley had a cake that was as unique as the rest of their details! Lesleigh asked the decorators at Kneading Hands to recreate Morgan's leather bouquet wrap on their cake. And it turned out AMAZING! Seriously the most unique cake ever. The pink flowers and pops of blue thistle made this cake extra special. And of course we stuck it on a wooden crate on top of a rustic barrel, because that's just what you do for a ranch-inspired cake display!

Morgan's most unforgettable moment from her wedding day was a really precious one during their reception. "It felt like from the time we got there until the time we left, the two hours flew by," she said. "But the second I got on that dance floor with my husband and we two-stepped to 'When I Said I Do' by Clint Black, time just stood still completely. It was most definitely my favorite moment from our wedding."

Morgan and Hadley haven't gone on their honeymoon just yet, but they plan to go on a cruise to Grand Cayman, Jamaica and Cozumel in Februrary!

Morgan and Hadley, it was an honor to plan your amazing wedding with you! We loved EVERY detail, and we're overjoyed that you chose The Barn as your venue! We wish y'all the best! xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo

Holly + Tyler's Shabby Chic Pink & Lavender Wedding

I hope you're prepared to see the cutest wedding ever! We love a sweet shabby chic wedding, so we were thrilled when this couple requested shabby chic details and a girly color palette. Holly and Tyler booked their wedding and tied the knot all within three weeks! That is more than enough time for us to pull off a gorgeous wedding... and, in fact, we've actually pulled a wedding off in just three days. Holly's bestie, Erin Kindy Photography, took these photos, and we can't wait to share all the adorable details with you!

Holly and Tyler were married at The Barn at Twin Oaks Ranch on May 31, 2018. They chose a color palette full of shades of pink (bright pink! blush! all the pinks!) and lavender. Their theme was shabby chic, and there were rustic and vintage details, as well.

Holly's bridal bouquet was one of my all time favorites! Our team combined bright pink peonies, alllll kinds of ridiculously pretty pink roses, a few lavender flowers, and a little bit of greenery, all tied up with pink ribbon to create the most gorgeous, girliest bouquet ever. LOVE! And that ring shot... swoon!

Holly's dress was simple and stunning. The scallop detailing and sheer back were so uniquely pretty. We love a simple dress, but this one was extra special! We also loved Holly's elegant hairstyle and jewelry. This bride was glowing!

We were crazy about Holly and Tyler's shabby chic, vintage ceremony details! They used our vintage white doors at their altar, with the loveliest pink florals, pink fringe details (so cute), and little pink mason jars filled with flowers. The rustic wooden barrel and crates kept this altar from being too girly. Literally the most adorable wedding ceremony we've seen!

This pink fringe detail though. SO dang adorable.

Holly and Tyler had a small, intimate ceremony with their closest friends and family watching as they started their lives together as husband and wife. We seriously can’t get enough of this bouquet!

We all know by now that I live for portraits of the bride and groom. ;) These are so pretty and sweet!

Holly and Tyler had a short and sweet reception that included an adorable shabby chic cake display and hors d'oeuvres. They had the cutest, tiniest naked cake topped with pink and lavender flowers and lace. There were more pretty pink and lavender florals in pink mason jars, and even an arrangement on an old, rustic ladder. And more of that super cute pink fringe garland!

I couldn't resist sharing one of our iPhone photos of this cute setup ;)

I couldn't resist sharing one of our iPhone photos of this cute setup ;)

Holly and Tyler, your wedding was precious and we loved getting to plan it with you! Thanks so much for choosing The Barn as your venue! Congratulations and best wishes! xoxoxoxoxoxoxo

Jessica + Eli's Glamorous Pink & Gold Wedding

There was so much to LOVE about this gorgeous wedding! This sweet couple chose to tie the knot in front of The Barn, and the addition of gold glittery curtains at The Barn's front doors took it to the next level and made this wedding one to remember! Jessica and Eli chose our classic Elopement Collection and personalized it to their needs by adding reception tables and hors d'oeuvres. Jessica said it was "short and simple," which was just what they were hoping for!

Paxton Anderson (from Paxton Goates Photography) took their beautiful photos, and we were thrilled to work with her again! She captured the dreamiest, most romantic photos, and we can't stop swooning!

Photographer: Paxton Goates Photography | Venue, Coordination, Design & Florals: The Barn at Twin Oaks Ranch | Bridal Gown: Danielle's Bridal | Makeup: Anissa Ellison | Cake: Kneading Hands Bakery

Jessica and Eli were married at The Barn at Twin Oaks Ranch on June 7, 2018. Their color palette included shades of bright pink and touches of sparkly gold. "Pink is my favorite color so I always knew that would be the color scheme of my wedding and I thought the gold added a nice sparkly touch," Jessica said.

Jessica's bouquets and florals were FULL of pink flowers, including bright pink peonies and roses in hot pink and light pink. They were feminine and GORGEOUS. "My bouquet was perfect!" she said. "I wasn't even sure what I wanted but Lesleigh was able to take my super vague requests and create a bouquet that I absolutely loved."

Umm, we are OBSESSED with Jessica's dress, which she found at Danielle's Bridal. We love a bridal gown with sleeves, and the bell sleeves on this one were so pretty! The beautiful lace, off-the-shoulder neckline and gorgeous train made this dress extra special and unforgettable!

Jessica's pretty bridesmaids wore long, elegant black dresses with different necklines and details. The dresses were timeless, and they looked incredible with the bridesmaids’ hot pink bouquets!

Eli wore a black suit with a black bow tie and black suspenders - a fun, modern addition to a classic look! His groomsmen also wore black suspenders and pink bow ties. This was probably the classiest bridal party ever!

Jessica and Eli's ceremony site was unique and gorgeous, and it was for sure the highlight of this wedding for us! They were married in front of The Barn's front doors, and our team made it even more beautiful with the addition of glittery gold drapes. They made such a statement that not much else was needed, so our team added a small pink floral arrangement at each door, and that was it for ceremony details! How pretty are our signature gold chairs with the gold curtains?! Jessica said this set-up "worked out perfectly for our smaller wedding since everyone was a little less spread out."

One of the most memorable moments of the day for Jessica came during the ceremony. "The one thing I'll always remember is Eli's face when he turned around as I was walking down the aisle," she said. Their ceremony was intimate and sweet, with their closest family and friends watching as they said I do.

As MOB I wanted to shield my daughter from all the usual wedding stress thinking I would head off any potential missteps. Lesleigh was way ahead of me! The set up was beautiful with every detail taken care of... The decorations, the flowers, the cake and the food were perfect. Mothers of the bride, if you’re going to help your daughter with her wedding, talk to these ladies.
— Teresa, Mother of the Bride

These beautiful portraits of Jessica and Eli look like they're straight from a movie! The lighting is so pretty and magical in these, and they are soooo romantic and dreamy! Jessica and Eli, y'all are really pretty people. And Paxton, you are incredible!

My favorite part of getting married at The Barn was that I didn’t have to worry about anything. The cake, decorations, and flowers were all taken care of. All I had to do was show up! I also loved the wedding timeline that Lesleigh sent. It can be stressful for even a small wedding not knowing where you’re supposed to be and at what time, but I was able to send that out to our wedding party and everyone knew exactly what to do.
— Jessica

Our signature Elopement Collection includes a cake with a beautiful display, but it doesn't typically include dinner or any other reception details. However, we are always happy to customize any of our collections to meet our couples' needs, and Jessica and Eli added on a short (but gorgeous!) reception with hors d'oeuvres.

Their reception tables were girly and glamorous, with glittery gold table runners, hot pink fabric, gold lanterns, and pretty pink florals in gold vases. "The Barn was decorated even better than I could have imagined," Jessica said.

They had a super simple white cake (from Kneading Hands Bakery) topped with a few flowers, as well as a little bit more glittery gold in their cake display. The perfect addition to the prettiest reception!

Their guests held sparklers as they made their grand exit from The Barn, and then the newlyweds headed off to Disney World for a fun, romantic honeymoon!

We LOVE feedback from our brides, but it also totally melts our hearts when their mamas reach out to us with the kindest words. Here is what Jessica's mom, Teresa, had to say about us! Thanks so much, Teresa! <3

"Weddings are about the bride and groom, but who gets the majority of them there? Mother’s do and this mother of the bride was super impressed. As MOB I wanted to shield my daughter from all the usual wedding stress thinking I would head off any potential missteps. Lesleigh was way ahead of me! The set up was beautiful with every detail taken care of and my daughter’s wedding was an elopement package. The decorations, the flowers, the cake and the food were perfect. I can not say enough good things about her. The only thing that could have been better was the heat and I’m sure if she could have controlled that she would have. Mothers of the bride, if you're going to help your daughter with her wedding, talk to these ladies."

Jessica and Eli, thank y'all so much for letting us plan your wedding with you! We loved every bit of it, and we couldn't be happier for you! xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo
